After receiving a message from Kiros to come to Esthar and meet the president to discuss a plan to defeat Sorceress Ultimecia last episode, in this one, Squall and company set out to see what their plan is. The title for this episode is taken from the personal anthem for the US President of America. Seeing as Squall and company are meeting the president of Esthar in this episode, this title seems appropriate.

In this episode, Squall and Rinoa are STILL IN SPACE, and must secure their safety onboard the Ragnarok. Plus, they get some much needed alone time. Is this Squall's big chance? The title for this episode is taken from the original song made for this game. Eyes On Me (in the story of FF8) is the song Julia (Rinoa's deceased mother) wrote after being inspired by Laguna in Deling City (a reference to the events seen back in my 6th episode of FFVIIIR). The vocals are performed by the beautiful Chinese singer Faye Wong.
