Isaiah 66 – Verse 1 – you need to really contemplate exactly what it means.
RVTAIsa 66:1 Thus says the LORD, "Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest? Far from denigrating the Temple, Elohim is stating that the Temple that was built cannot contain Him. The heavens and earth cannot contain Him. 1 Kings 8:27 “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain Thee, how much less this house which I have built! 2 Chron. 6:18 “But will God indeed dwell with mankind on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain Thee; how much less this house which I have built.12 views -

Isaiah 64 – How do we learn the Heavenly Fathers righteousness?
RVTAIsa 64:5 Thou dost meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, Who remembers Thee in Thy ways. Behold, Thou wast angry, for we sinned, We continued in them a long time; And shall we be saved? Elohim meets those who rejoice in righteousness, in those who remember His ways. He said this to Israel at Mt. Sinai. Exo 29:42-46 “It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. 43“And I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by My glory. 44“And I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to minister as priests to Me. 45“And I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God. 46“And they shall know that I am the LORD their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them; I am the LORD their God. Elohim will meet with those who are righteous. The inhabitants of the earth will learn His righteousness through judgment. Isa 26:8-9 Indeed, while following the way of Thy judgments, O LORD, We have waited for Thee eagerly; Thy name, even Thy memory, is the desire of our souls. 9At night my soul longs for Thee, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks Thee diligently; For when the earth experiences Thy judgments The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.15 views -
Isaiah 63 - It is very possible that the "Day of the LORD" is a year in length; by many verses.
RVTAIsa 63:4 "For the day of vengeance was in My heart, And My year of redemption has come. From this verse and others, it is very possible that the Day of Yahweh is a year in length. Isa 34:8 For the LORD has a day of vengeance, A year of recompense for the cause of Zion. Isa 61:2 To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, Ezek 4:6 "When you have completed these, you shall lie down a second time, but on your right side, and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah; I have assigned it to you for forty days, a day for each year. Elohim punished Israel for a year according to each day they spied on their Promised Land: Rev 11:18 "And the nations were enraged, and Thy wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to give their reward to Thy bond-servants the prophets and to the saints and to those who fear Thy name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth." We have a quick rundown of the events. The nations were enraged with Israel. Then the wrath of Elohim came down. Then the dead were judged and the righteous were rewarded. There is a specific reference to the dead being judged at the time of the return of Messiah and not at the end of His 1000 year reign (which we will cover in chapter 20). This is also described by Daniel Dan 12:1-2). The words of Yeshua state a single resurrection for the righteous and unrighteous, also John 5:28-29). Rev 18:8 "For this reason in one day her plagues will come, pestilence and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for the Lord God who judges her is strong. Verse 8 of Revelation 18 states that the plagues will come upon Babylon in one "day." The plagues are described as "pestilence (the word is almost always translated as "death"), mourning, and famine." These things will come upon her in one "day." The Greek word for "day" is the word haymera, which also means a year.2250. hemera, hay-mer'-ah; fem. (with G5610 implied) of a der. of hemai (to sit; akin to the base of G1476) mean. tame, i.e. gentle; day, i.e. (lit.) the time space between dawn and dark, or the whole H24 hours (but several days were usually reckoned by the Jews as inclusive of the parts of both extremes); fig. a period (always defined more or less clearly by the context):--age, + alway, (mid-) day (by day, [-ly]), + for ever, judgment, (day) time, while, years. The wording of the passage seems to indicate a distinct timeframe. Since the passage is speaking of the defeat of an empire, the timeframe is likely to be long as opposed to short. If haymera is referring to a year, then the timeframe would be a Jewish year which is 364.868 days. Using the "day = year" formula as described in Scripture, then we are looking at a timeframe of 364.87 years River Valley Torah Assembly18 views -
Isaiah 62 – Preparing the way for righteousness. Who will be able to enter the gates of the “City?”
RVTADue to an audio technical difficulty, a portion of a previous recording in 2016 is added to this teaching. Isa 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; Clear the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway; Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples. This appears to be a reference to preparing the way to obedience to Him. Isa 40:2-5 “Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, That her iniquity has been removed, That she has received of the LORD’s hand Double for all her sins.” 3A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. 4“Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley; 5Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Only those who follow His Torah may enter through the gates into the City. Rev. 22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.6 views -
Isaiah 61 – Why a double portion? To whom is it given? Who is His first-born?
RVTAIsa 61:7 Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, Everlasting joy will be theirs. Elohim will grant his people a double portion. Deut. 21:17 “But he shall acknowledge the first-born, the son of the unloved, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength; to him belongs the right of the first-born. Because Israel is His first-born. Ex. 4:22 “Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Israel is My son, My first-born.6 views -
Isaiah 59 - They hatch adders' eggs and weave the spider's web... What does that entail?

Isaiah 55 – Thoughts – intentions; they are not synonymous; they are 2 different things.
RVTAIsa 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, And He will have compassion on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his "thoughts." "Thoughts" is the Hebrew word H4284. machashabah, makh-ash-aw-baw'; or machashebeth, makh-ash-eh'-beth; from H2803; a contrivance, i.e. (concr.) a texture, machine, or (abstr.) intention, plan (whether bad, a plot; or good, advice):--cunning (work), curious work, device (-sed), imagination, invented, means, purpose, thought. The passage says "Let the unrighteous man forsake his "intentions." The Spirit of Elohim within us makes our intentions to be His will. Elohim will have compassion on him and will abundantly pardon (forgive) him. Pardon - H5545. calach, saw-lakh'; a prim. root; to forgive:--forgive, pardon, spare. Elohim will abundantly forgive those who forsake their wicked ways and evil intentions. Isa 1:16-20 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Cease to do evil, 17Learn to do good; Seek justice, Reprove the ruthless; Defend the orphan, Plead for the widow. “Let Us Reason” 18“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool. 19“If you consent and obey, You will eat the best of the land; 20“But if you refuse and rebel, You will be devoured by the sword.” Truly, the mouth of the LORD has spoken. Jer. 4:14 Wash your heart from evil, O Jerusalem, That you may be saved. How long will your wicked thoughts Lodge within you? 2 Chron 7:14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Prov. 28:13 He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion. Ezek. 18:21-23 “But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed and observes all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 22“All his transgressions which he has committed will not be remembered against him; because of his righteousness which he has practiced, he will live. 23“Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord GOD, “rather than that he should turn from his ways and live? Ezek. 33:11 “Say to them, ‘As I live!’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’ Hosea 14:1-2 Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity. 2Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity, And receive us graciously, That we may present the fruit of our lips. Isa 55:8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Neither are your ways My ways," declares the LORD. Isa 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. His thoughts are not man's thoughts and His ways are not man's ways. Psalm 36:5-10 Thy lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Thy faithfulness reaches to the skies. 6Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are like a great deep. O LORD, Thou preservest man and beast. 7How precious is Thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Thy wings. 8They drink their fill of the abundance of Thy house; And Thou dost give them to drink of the river of Thy delights. 9For with Thee is the fountain of life; In Thy light we see light. 10O continue Thy lovingkindness to those who know Thee, And Thy righteousness to the upright in heart. Psalm 103:10-12 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. 12As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. His ways are grace and Truth. Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. Isa 55:10 "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth, And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; Isa 55:11 So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. The Word of Elohim will not return empty. It will accomplish His purpose. 1 Thess. 2:13 And for this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received from us the word of God’s message, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe. James 1:18 In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we might be, as it were, the first fruits among His creatures. 1 Peter 1:22-25 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, 23for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God. 24For, “ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS, AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS. THE GRASS WITHERS, AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF, 25BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ABIDES FOREVER.” And this is the word which was preached to you.26 views -
Isaiah 54 – Who are the sons of the desolate one? And see how “just a little bit” can be destructive
RVTAIsa 54:1 "Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child; Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous Than the sons of the married woman," says the LORD. This chapter tells of the blessings we have through the Messiah described in the previous chapter. It is through Messiah that Israel is restored to Elohim. The sons of the desolate one (being Sarah) will be more then the sons of the married woman. Paul quotes this passage in reference to the Gentiles being a part of Israel (Gal. 4:27). Gal 4:27 For it is written, “REJOICE, BARREN WOMAN WHO DOES NOT BEAR; BREAK FORTH AND SHOUT, YOU WHO ARE NOT IN LABOR; FOR MORE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE DESOLATE THAN OF THE ONE WHO HAS A HUSBAND.”24 views -
