The Last Of Us

(LOU Part 1) New series. I wanted a new series, so I'm starting a new series. This title is quite intense, one of the more intense games I can think of right off and this is your only warning about that. It's good though, great even. While not exactly an unknown title, there was some controversy about another game titled Last of Us Part 2 or something that overshadowed the brilliance of this here game, which is weird because there is no game named Last of Us Part 2, nor has there ever been. It doesn't exist, so don't bother asking about it. Happy Halloween! {Editors' Note: No, like seriously, there is no Last of Us Part 2. Ghostbusters 2 exists, Knight of the Old Republic 2 exists, .... the second season of True Detective is ok I guess. But, a game titled The Last of Us Part 2 does not exist. End of discussion. This is the only game in the series.}

(LOU Part 2) Don't know what that name is short for, but Tess is a firecracker. Man, woman, child, there's no one I'd rather have by my side when the guns start going off. Glad you are here with me. {Editor's Note: Don't forget to get out and vote!}

(LOU Part 3) The Firefly organization appears to be a rebel group that deals in illegal contraband and whatnot. My kind of people. The leader of the group, Marlene, seems to want favors for favors.

(LOU Part 4) Just in case things weren't already bad enough, it's raining now.

(LOU Part 5) So, turning into an infected creature takes about 2 days, maybe 3 days if you are lucky. Ellie was bit by an infected 3 weeks ago, is testing positive, and you can't even tell... Not even sure what I'm supposed to do with that information, but that is crazy, yo.

(LOU Part 6) Joel is a physical powerhouse of a man, capable of extreme amounts of 2A, self-defense violence at a moment's notice, but some of these more infected infected creatures are pretty dangerous. .. Longer infected? More exposed infected? ... The clickers. No idea how a fungus can make someone physically stronger, but that's how it works, apparently, for these special infected creatures. Joel can manhandle the standard infected with relative ease, but he almost needs to have something in his hands or a gun to deal with the clickers.

(LOU Part 7) It's not what you think. Also, notice the basics of close-quarters combat on display in this title. Evade first, then attack, always double or triple up on strikes, circles and direct action. The developers of this game know how to fight is what I mean, to code all of that into the game. Impressive.

(LOU Part 8) Y'all, this is hilarious. This is just a straight up mosh pit.
