The Lord’s Prayer — Pray It Over Your Life Every Day When Jesus’ disciples asked Him how to pray, He didn’t give them a ritual — He gave them a model. The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13) isn’t just words to repeat. It’s a divine outline that touches every part of our walk with God. Each line carries eternal truth: • “Our Father in heaven” — reminds us we are loved and never alone • “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done” — invites God’s rule into our day • “Give us this day our daily bread” — teaches daily trust in His provision • “Forgive us our debts” — keeps our hearts free, clean, and humble • “Deliver us from evil” — calls on His power for protection and peace I encourage you to pray this prayer out loud over your life each morning. Speak it with faith. Let its truth shape your heart, your thoughts, and your day. When we pray as Jesus taught us, we align our hearts with Heaven — and Heaven moves on our behalf. Below is my personal prayer, based on Jesus’ model prayer: “The Lord’s Prayer” — A Personal Prayer by Chet Nowlen Father in Heaven, I honor Your holy name. Let Your Kingdom come in my life today. Let Your perfect will be done in me, through me, and around me — here on earth, just as it is in Heaven. Provide for me today all that I need — spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Forgive me, Lord, for my sins, just as I freely forgive those who have sinned against me. Keep me on the path of righteousness and protect me from every temptation, every trap, and all evil. For Yours is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory — forever and ever. Amen. 🙏
