Deuteronomy 32 – Other Scriptures tell us that other supposed "gods" are merely Demons. 2023
RVTADeu 32:16 "They made Him jealous with strange gods; With abominations they provoked Him to anger. Deu 32:17 "They sacrificed to demons who were not God, To gods whom they have not known, New gods who came lately, Whom your fathers did not dread. Other Scriptures tell us that other supposed "gods" are merely Demons. Psalm 106:32-37 1 Cor. 10:20 In this teaching of Deuteronomy 32, I get a little sidetracked with Revelation and how easily that symbolic writing can be completely understood. I chased a rabbit, but it was fun to do so. Come join us for an hour and see if you don't agree.30 views -
Deuteronomy 31 Afflictions suffered due to idolatry causes them to think the Almighty abandoned them
RVTADeu 31:18 "But I will surely hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they will do, for they will turn to other gods. The afflictions they will suffer due to their idolatry will cause them to think that the Almighty has abandoned them. Keep in mind that they (in the future) did not totally abandon worshipping Elohim, they just went into idolatry also. Elohim says that is totally unacceptable.34 views -
Deuteronomy 30 - What was the biggest sin Israel had committed worse than all others? 2023
RVTADeu 30:1-3 “So it shall be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind in all nations where the LORD your God has banished you, 2and you return to the LORD your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, 3then the LORD your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you. After all the blessings and curses come upon Israel, then the Almighty will regather Israel. What was the biggest sin Israel had committed worse than all others? It was idolatry. While Israel in the land today is not perfect and not totally Torah observant, the are no longer idolatrous. The sin of idolatry among the people was great. Just as prophesied in Torah, the people and land of Israel was controlled by other nations: Foreign Empires that Ruled Israel Period Empire 587-538 BC Babylonian 538-333 BC Persian 333-63 BC Hellenistic 63 BC-313 AD . Roman 313-636 AD . Byzantine 636-1099 AD . Muslims 1099-1291 AD . Crusaders 1291-1516 AD . Mamluk (Muslims) 1516-1918 AD . Ottoman (Muslims) 1917-1948 AD British (Presently Almost Muslim) Elohim knew what would happen to Israel. He warned them from the beginning they would be punished in this way. It would appear that the time that the Almighty has turned His face from Israel and Judah is over. He has compassion on His people and has gathered many of them from all the peoples where Yahweh has scattered them. This was prophesied in other passages also. Hosea 3:4-5 Isaiah gives interesting details also. Elohim prophesies a second return of Judah to the land of Israel. Isaiah 11:11-12 Judah and Ephraim will not be two kingdoms, but one. Isaiah 11:13 They will fight the Philistines, Edom, Ammon, and Moab. Isaiah 11:14 Elohim will dry up the Euphrates and the remnant of Israel will come and worship the Almighty. Deuteronomy 29 - Up to this time, the people did not have "eyes to see" nor "ears to hear." 2023
RVTADeu 29:4 “Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a heart to know, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear. Up to this time, the people did not have "eyes to see" nor "ears to hear." For someone to hear Elohim's Word and understand it, is an act of the Spirit of the Father. Yeshua quoted this verse. Mark 8:17-18 In this passage in Deuteronomy, the Almighty says that even though they have seen great miracles, they do not have a heart to know, eyes to see, nor ears to hear.. Let's look at the entire context of the passage where Yeshua quotes this same verse. Yeshua warned the disciples of the leaven of the Pharisees and of Herod. The disciples misunderstood and Yeshua rebuked them for their lack of understanding. Mark 8:15-18 Then Yeshua reminded them of the miraculous acts they witnessed, just as the Almighty said. Deut. 29:4 The disciples do not understand the Word of the Almighty to obedience just like Israel in the day of Moses. The passage in Mark continues with the ironic account of a blind man that Yeshua healed. Mark 8:22-25 Yeshua only gave this man "eyes to see" when He first laid hands on Him. The blind man saw men "as trees, walking about." He saw that men are all trees bearing either good fruit or bad fruit. Matt. 7:16-20 It would appear that Yeshua ironically used a blind man that could see better than the disciples. Many people are not given ears to hear. The reason is that the Almighty does not desire them to understand. Matt. 13:9-1712 views -

Deuteronomy 27 - commandments come with blessings when obeyed and curses when they are broken. 2023
RVTADeu 27:1 Then Moses and the elders of Israel charged the people, saying, "Keep all the commandments which I command you today. The people are commanded by Moses and the elders to keep Elohim's commandments. The commandments come with blessings when they are obeyed and they come with curses when they are broken. Deu 27:2 “So it shall be on the day when you shall cross the Jordan to the land which the LORD your God gives you, that you shall set up for yourself large stones, and coat them with lime This command was carried out by Joshua. Deuteronomy 26 - Who are declared you to be His people? 2023
RVTADeu 26:18 “And the LORD has today declared you to be His people, a treasured possession, as He promised you, and that you should keep all His commandments; Elohim is referring to Israel in this passage. Paul tells us that He is referring to all believers. Titus 2:14 Peter says this same thing also. 1 Peter 2:9 Deu 26:19 and that He shall set you high above all nations which He has made, for praise, fame, and honor; and that you shall be a consecrated people to the LORD your God, as He has spoken." Elohim has declared Israel to be a consecrated (holy) people. This is declared in several other places in Scripture. Exodus 19:6 Rev. 1:5-6 1 Peter 2:98 views 1 comment -

Deuteronomy 24 - This "indecency" cannot be adultery - the punishment for adultery is death. 2023
RVTADeu 24:1 "When a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens that she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out from his house, This law does not specifically institute divorce as a practice. Although it does mention that divorce is allowed for some "indecency." This "indecency" cannot be adultery because the punishment for adultery is death. The Hebrew word implies some form of nakedness: 6172. 'ervah, er-vaw'; from H6168; nudity, lit. (espec. the pudenda) or fig. (disgrace, blemish):--nakedness, shame, unclean (-ness). This is apparently referring to some kind of indecency short of adultery. But it is not specified. The issue being addressed in this passage is not divorce itself. But it is addressing that of a divorced woman remarrying her husband after she had remarried previously.19 views
