The birds are two months old and should start laying in a few short months

Chickens are off to freezer camp and the carrots have been planted

Keeping the chickens as comfortable as possible in freezing temperatures

Taking more waist and making a useable product

Treats from the garden for the chickens

Using the chickens to do the lawn maintenance. No more expensive lawn care companeys..... and no more poison chemicals...... The chickens do the work I reap the benefits

This has been my wood working project for the last three weeks. We are now ready to raise egg laying hens. If this works out, we may look into some meat birds.
