The city Russians completely destroyed while killing hundreds of thousands of civilians, making it essentially a collective grave. And while showing newly built houses as a proof of a “good intentions”, the actual truth is far more unsettling. The new houses, said to be for the local people and built where their old homes used to be, are actually not for the people from Mariupol who want to come back. Instead, they are being sold to other Russians who just want a real estate at the seashore.

It was not a secret that in some regions of Russia there were internal dictatorships, but now Russian police and Russian government is participating in chasing, catching forcingly marrying and even killing of women who try to escape domestic violence. Women get abused, mutilated and regurarly beaten in the southern regions of Russia, and when they try to run, it appears that they are not safe anywhere.
