resurrect.me (2025) - Lyrical Videos

The lyrics that became the backbone of resurrect.me were born of a series of journal entries written from early 2020 to late 2022 throughout the height of the pandemic and worldwide unrest, as well as the songwriter's own then-unresolved personal pain and loss. These journal entries were intended only to serve as a much-needed channel for these emotions; the concept of turning those into fully-formed music was absolutely unfeasible. Flash forward to 2025 and that concept has become our new reality, allowing those entries to finally be heard (close to) the way they were always imagined when they were written all that time ago. With resurrect.me, the purpose of revisiting those times is to find the closure of that era within it. Whether its the hypocritical empathy of "Empathy", the need to "paint over" alone the experiences once shared in "Painted Over (I & II)", the musings of a technological world gone out of control in "Symphony of Things", the weary, "now-that-its-all-over" nostalgia of "Wasn't Such a Bad Life", or something else entirely, it is our hope that you find something that speaks to you. If not, well, we'll just keep on tryin'. If the album seems dark, remember that it was written at a dark time, from a dark place.
