November 20, 2024 Blackie Rose crossed the Rainbow Bridge today in my arms at the vet's office. She was safe, and loved and felt no fear and even sassed the vet when she gave her the shot at the end. My baby girl to the end. ❤️‍🩹

#onthisday It's been a year baby girl.... A whole year without you.... It doesn't feel like it to mommy.... It feels like yesterday that I held you for the last time.... Kissed you goodbye for the last time.... Told you it would be okay so you would stop fighting even though it really wouldn't be for mommy.... Made the hardest decision a pet parent has to make.... Held you until your last breath... Comforted you.... You tried to comfort me even as you were in pain and fighting the injection.... You were such a good girl Blackie Rose...
