Allah’s will is not bound by any nature he might have. Surah 6:12 Allah “has decreed upon Himself mercy”. He wills either merciful and forgiving (39:53, 49:5, 24:22) or justice to people (95:8, 7:87, 22:56-7, 45:22). But without a propitiatory sacrifice as Christ, he cannot be both or he therefore denies himself. And justice & mercy are not part of his inherent nature or essence. He puts them on like clothes in a wardrobe. In which case they are either created (purely arbitrary) or eternal (co-eternal entities with Allah and the Quran). (Good works outweigh bad- 23:101-4 indicating atonement was not made for the bad works.) Allah can arbitrarily forgive without a just payment for sins. (Mass murderer hadith - Sahih Bukhari / Volume 4 / Book 56 / Hadith 676) Therefore, he can deny justice which demands equal penalty for crimes. Surah 5:40, 36:51-4 Allah (the Compeller- 59:23) imposes divine determinism which destroys knowledge. (Surah 32:13, 2:7, 7:178-9, 10:99-100, 81:28-9,6:107, 6:148-9) You can only know what you are forced to know, but not whether it is in reality true. Allah altered the historical record so almost all people from Christ until now believe he was crucified by the Romans. And the wrongdoers have not any protector or helper.” (42:8) This supreme essence of his volition even over any nature he may have would also make sense as to how Allah can absolve sins by an act of will (Surah 2:25, 8:38, 29:7, 39:53, 46:16) causing the good deeds to remove the evil deeds (Surah 11:114) even changing the evil into good deeds (Surah 25:70). (In contrast to Christianity where an eternal God who doesn’t change can only be appeased by an eternal propitiation which he himself provided through the eternal person the Lord Jesus Christ, who indeed came in the flesh for this selfsame thing. In Christianity this is the reason behind eternal torment in hell- because God cannot change.) In Islam apparently, Allah could absolve everyone by an act of pure volition but doesn’t. In Surah 6:148- 150 Muhammad seems to be arguing here that these pagans who claim Allah forbade certain things and would bring witnesses to testify, are obviously wrong as they associate partners with Allah (Ad hominem fallacy). He doesn’t provide a refutation of determinism in the face of criticism from idolaters, instead he seems to confirm it.

The book (Torah, Psalms, Gospel) was something that they still had and still contained Allah’s revelation in the time of Muhammad (Surah 16:43, 21:7, 48, 105, 40:53-4, 2:41, 62, 89, 91,97,101, 2:75, 113, 3:3, 81, 4:47, 136, 10:94, 53:36, 28:48-9, 35:31, 5:42-48, 65-8) The Christians and the Jews in Muhammad’s day can trust their book wherein is judgment and revelation preserved by Allah since none can alter his words, and this revelation confirms Muhammad’s revelation in the Quran (Muhammad himself was instructed by Allah to look at the Jew’s and Christian’s scripture for his truth- 10:94). Surah 3:78 is about people twisting the scriptures (as Peter warned- 2 Pet.3:16). According to Muhammed, Jews & Christians should look to the bible (OT & NT) to confirm the new revelation (Quran). But ASSUME the truth of the new revelation over the bible where the bible contradicts the Quran as you confirm it. So, ASSUME it as you look for evidence to support it & reject anything contrary.
