I learned about the Flexner Report from this guy https://rumble.com/v3czdck-doc-blows-the-whistle-on-chemotherapy.html in the intro or first chapter of his book "The MD Emperor has no Clothes" which was a really good read up to where I stopped (don't have time now with my other responsibilities to read books and do this too). The different schools of medicine had turf wars in the 1800s/early 1900s, they were like gangs. IIRC the chiropractors aimed a canon at the front door of the major Boston hospital who were stealing their patients or something like that. Around the time they set up the Fed Reserve, IRS and World War I, the Rockefellers (WHO WERE HEAVILY INVESTED IN PHARMACEUTICALS) paid this guy Flexner to write a report ranking allopathic doctors, then they lobbied the system to only work with those allopathic doctors and not any other ones, and of course there were no homeopaths, chiros or osteopaths on the allopathy blue checkmarks list. Which you'd have to admit, sounds like it was the point. And that's why allopathic doctors are the only respected field and the only medical solution in mainstream America, which happens to be extremely profitable to pharmaceutical makers and investors like the Rockefellers. Germ theory, popularized by Louis Pasteur, probably had a similar background and had been popular for maybe 30 years when the Flexner Report was published in 1910, but it had been around hundreds of years in its modern form and no one had ever trusted it.
