You stay over at your friends place and late into the night, they're off asleep while you're still awake. Deciding to head downstairs you notice a small light shining under the door down the hallway. Your friends roommate is still awake! Maybe she can pass the time. Doesn't hurt to try. Walking over to her door you slowly peek it open hoping you don't interrupt anything important. --- Hello! This was my very first story based ASMR that never got uploaded with the sync for some reason, so I thought I'd bring it over finally and have it shared. I remember being nervous and not understanding the "rules" so to speak when it comes to storytelling or role play type audios but I am glad to have continued through the unknown and now it has become a wonderful experience. ----- For this video I wanted to help ease someone's mind out there. Maybe calm down all the late night chatter that goes on inside? This was also my first time starting digital art. I'd done sketches here and there traditionally but digital was and still is a new route for me. I trust to improve the character designs and understand more about digital art as a whole. Ah here we are, late into the night and you find yourself unable to sleep again. Lying on the couch you're lost in thought with the game paused on the television. Just when you figure maybe this one of those nights you may not have much rest, some movement upstairs catches your attention. The only other sound is the soft rain trickling down outside. Your curiosity getting the best of you, you make your way upstairs, eager to see if she's awake once again. Sure enough, the small light shining under the doorway signals that she is indeed awake. You're downtown in the middle of the crowd sorting through your thoughts, when suddenly you feel panic and uneasiness take over. Her words come back to mind from the nights you stayed over when visiting your friend Faye. But... it's been ages... is her number the same? Will she actually answer? What if you're being annoying? Trying your chance, you hear the phone ringing on the other side in hopes Kate will answer. ----- Happy Anniversary! It's exactly one year ago today we decided to step into your world and invite you to ours. Just about the same timeframe too, late into the night. I can not believe it's been one year already. I feel like there's so much more to do, more stories to be told... and to think you're here with me along this journey. I thank you. ---- I decided to bring back the one who was first introduced a year ago: Kate. The one who loves to comfort, and set you at ease. She has an updated look and I honestly prefer her blonde. I hope you like the color choices. I'm still trying to get better at angles of the face. The body is one thing, but the face is an entirely new chapter of perspective. I can see it even have its own separate book. I nit picked at it and eventually had to remind myself the show must go on. There's always room for improvement. ---- The community tab is there but I still find myself unsure of what to say. I notice many other use it for polls so perhaps I can make one in the near future. --- If you made it this far I have a small confession: I found myself wondering: "Why am I uploading a comfort video when the time is Halloween? Why not something scary or more to the norm?" And then I remembered: "Ah right...I never cared to follow the norm." It truly was a nice reminder to not get caught up in certain things. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to jump in when events are happening and it's nice to be aware of what works and what doesn't. But it's easy to get burned out. And that was a hard lesson I learned this past year. Loosing yourself in numbers, rushing your work... never good. Take your time, have a good pace, and enjoy yourself. Quality, over Quantity.
