My Japanese Video Game Collection 157 Virtua Fighter
thecchannelThis was one of the first 3D fighting games ever made and boy does it look like it. The controls are terrible, Every time you jump it's like your on the moon and the special moves are just hard to perform. Even on easy mode the game can be challenging but this started the era of 3D fighting games. Finally I wanna say the Super 32X is not worth the time or money. And The Japanese were too smart not to buy it because they knew this piece of junk was going to be discontinued shortly. That's because the Sega Saturn was already released. In fact the Sega Saturn came out in Japan 1 month before the Super 32X. Only 18 games came out for the 32X in Japan and what the hell was Sega doing? And not only did the Sega Saturn already came out but so did the Sony Playstation, Bandai Playdia and the PC-FX. The Japanese knew it was a better idea to buy one of the newer consoles instead of another add-on to the Mega Drive. After 8 months it was released it was the end of the Super 32X. So yeah, End Of Story.165 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 156 Doom
thecchannelDoom is one of the greatest FPS games of all time. I still remember playing Doom and Doom 2 on my Dad's old computer. (Fun Memories.) My dad even got me Doom for the Super Nintendo for Christmas of 1995 and I was having a blast with it. But I didn't had fun with this game because you need a 6-button controller to play this game. The controls are terrible, Only 16 levels are in this version and there is no saving or passwords, and the music is just awful. The Super Famicom version is better because it has all the levels, and the music sounds just better. But the graphics are horrible. Here on the 32X is better. I will say that.121 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 155 WWF RAW
thecchannelYes they even have WWF Wrestling games in Japan. But this one is not all great. It's the exact same thing as the Mega Drive version just with updated graphics and sounds. That's pretty much it. It's a good game I will give it that but it can get boring sooner or later. WWF Wrestlemania Arcade is more exciting than this.112 views 1 comment -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 154 Mortal Kombat 2 (Super 32X Version)
thecchannelThis is the Super 32X version of Mortal Kombat 2. It's pretty much like the arcade version but with a little bit of mega drive elements. The graphics have improved, and it has more voices, but the music is the exact same thing as the mega drive version. This is much better than the Super Famicom version because the blood in this game is red and you can see uncensored fatalities. It even has Goro's lair when you fight Jade because in the mega drive version you fight her in the dark portal. The Sega Genesis version keeps reminding me of Doug. He always loved the mortal kombat games and we played them at his house all the time. Fun memories with Doug. I miss him. Love you Doug.158 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 153 WWF Wrestlemania
thecchannelSo this is Wrestlemania now that I got everything in working order. The graphics is a little better than the mega drive version. But it's pretty much the same thing. You got all the moves and the voice of Vince Mcmahon. In the genesis and playstation version you also get the voice of Jerry The King Lawyer. This is one of my favorite WWF games from back in the day. Can you imagine Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns jumping up 20 feet into the air punching each other, Or Seth Rollins shooting fireballs at C.M. Punk or even Randy Orton RKO John Cena from one end of the other. That would be awesome. The game itself makes you think about Mortal Kombat in a way but with WWF Wrestling which is still a good game and fun to play. Each Wrestler has special moves, Pin Moves and you can wrestle outside the ring. How awesome is this game? Totally awesome.173 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 154 Invisible Mortal Kombat 2
thecchannelHang on let me try this game and see what happens? WHAT THE FUDGE? Guess What? I didn't do something right. You have to plug the a/v cable into the Super 32X instead of the mega drive because there is another cable which you have to connect the Super 32X to the mega drive a/v slot. All these cables and wires are causing a mess back here. Sega invented the 32X just to increase the power of the mega drive. It's giving it steroids.105 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 153 IWWF Wrestlemania
thecchannelSometime ago I showed you some Mega CD games yes, it's a piece of shit but it does have some good games for it. But in order to play the Mega CD first you must have the Mega Drive and put the two together. Now here's the thing. Sega didn't stop there. Sega came out with another Mega Drive attachment. Yes you heard me right. Let me tell you about the Super 32X. This mushroom head thing was the last thing from sega to keep the Mega Drive up and running against the PC-Engine and the Super Famicom. You insert it through the cartridge slot of the Mega Drive like a mega drive game. Now the Mega Drive has 2 add-ons attached to this thing. The Super 32X can play all 16-bit Mega Drive games but it has its own library of Super 32X games. I tried turning it on but it won't work because you have to plug it in. That's right like the Mega CD this thing has to run off on it's own AC adapter. Now that's 3! one for the mega drive, one for the Mega CD and one for the Super 32X. Don't mind if I go off subject for a minute but every add-on I've played has to run off on their own AC adapters which is completely stupid. Even the Famicom Disk System has its own adapter but it also runs on batteries. (Why can't other add-ons just run on batteries?) Since my family and I are wrestling fans let's start things off with WWF Wrestlemania. Featuring a wrestler selection screen where you can't see who you're choosing. So how do you know who you're choosing to be? You can't even see which title belt you're selecting so how do I know? Huh? Wait a minute? Something's not right here? Okay....What is going on here? Why can't I see the wrestlers? Is this the Invisible World Wrestling Federation?86 views
