Anyway I beat the boss of the Reverse Outer Wall then stop by the Forbidden Library and fight through there completing it. After doing that I head over to the Reverse Clock Tower and end up later facing off against the giant bat which surprised me because he ended up surviving my attack From Byakko which is shocking he should have been dead on the spot there but he did not last long afterwards so still pretty much dead heh. I go back through and back into the Reverse Caverns and start clearing that place as usual I am there for a big chunk of time as the place is huge. Then afterwards into the Soul Prison and then through the Black Marble Gallery. I find the black marble gallery much easier with Maria than Richter since she is once more far more mobile. Right off the bat I decide to tackle some of the harder things in the inverted castle, one being the Hell Garden and going there and the other being going at and taking down the boss Galamoth sooner than later so I can get him out of the way. Instead of like Richter where I decided to take a different route while starting the place I will instead just start off like I usually do and hit the Anti-Chapel first followed by the Necromancy Laboratory, so in this I take down quickly two bosses. And is it me or do the inverted areas always feel larger than there regular counterparts? I mean sure they are pretty much the same but reversed but to me I always feel like I am in them far longer or they are bigger.. Hm weird. I run through the Abandoned Pit and make my way to the Catacombs where Maria faces off against another boss of the castle and the last one left Legion who she takes easy quick work of because he is completely vulnerable and perfect to just use her air kick on so the fight did not even last that long, After getting rid of Legion it is off to the 2nd castle! It is inverted time!

You see that small space there back when I first got to it as her I thought she couldn`t squeeze through that small space but she can giving her access to that room. Olrox was well easy with her. Once he gets into his giant form I just drop down on him from the air and kick him to death. Turning big was his biggest mistake against Maria. Afterwards I head down to my favorite location in this game the Underground Garden heh I dunno why I enjoy that place so much I mean it is so small and not even that large an area but I am crazy about it. The Skeleton Leader goes down in seconds byakko was just too much for him. First by fighting the fake Alucard and then working my way into the Long Library. Ugh and the flea men and flea armors are still as annoying as ever there. I have to admit I had a really fun time at Clock Tower with Maria more fun than I had with both Richter and Alucard heh I pulled off some good moves upon entering the place. And boy if you thought she was good in Rondo of Blood wait till you use her here! I mean heck not even I have used her to her fullest potential! She can do some crazy stuff that I have not even done. So let us get down to the basic stuff shall we? First off She is far more mobile than Alucard and Richter put together why? You know the double jump? Yeah we all know that stuff in games but Maria? She takes the double jump and is like get that crap outta my face Nah Maria she can do a triple jump!!! Which is rare to have! The only other person to have that is Maxim as far as I know! On top of the triple jump she can also do a high jump and unlike Alucard`s hers inflicts damage on the enemy when she jumps up so take advantage of that. Hey, hey and we are not even done yet so sit down and keep reading alright? We ain`t even done so remember sub-weapons? Well like Richter and Alucard Maria can use them however she cannot item crash here anymore like she could in Rondo instead when used the amount of sub-weapons is doubled. Like for example if she throws an axe instead of throwing one she will toss out about 3 or more of them etc. and it is like that for almost every sub-weapon for her. oh and speaking of them hearts? Alucard and Richter? Pathetic Maria can have a maximum of 999 hearts!!! The highest of any castlevania game out there! And he can get this amount very quickly depending on how you play. And one last thing about the heart bit sub-weapon use only use 1 heart. Now onto her basic fighting ability she no longer uses white doves to attack, now she is more of a direct combat type aswell as magic based. Her normal attack consists of a simple small magic bolt (haha feels like Mega Man some eh?) But she can also if you hold the button down charge up her attack, when she is flashing red that is maximum charge and she will fire a piercing laser out that deals heavy fire based damage to anything in the way. Most enemies die right away to this as it hits multiple times in a single blast heh works wonders on large sized enemies but be aware of the magic meter next to her health as it consumes a bunch. Then next up we have her kicks Maria can kick yes she has a kick where she is crouched down and she also has a normal standing kick, Also she can run and then kick. Her running kick is helpful and does good damage to enemies a perfect way to rush attack enemies or get rid of skeletons etc. as it`ll one shot them and you can quickly start another kick like that she she rebounds off of the enemy fast. Another kick she has is her drop kick in the air. Let`s say you jump into the air right? Like Alucard she can drop kick down on top of enemies and trust me you should absolutely use her drop kick move as it really helps a bunch on some bosses such as Galamoth or Legion etc. Her other ability consists of Guardians Knuckle remember that move from Rondo of Blood? Where she sent out some girl in black to punch stuff for massive damage? Well it is back here and this time Maria performs the attack herself instead of projecting out that girl, although this move is much weaker here and is not overpowered like it was in Rondo so do not expect much from it. Now off to her animal friends they are back! So Byakko the cat if you summon him Maria will charge up for a moment and then blast the enemy with fire! Keep in mind this move is Maria`s second strongest move and it is easy to start up so take advantage of that! But do not overuse it as it drains her magic meter rapidly, You can only use it about 2 times with a full meter. Since I do not know how to summon her other animals I used Byakko a bunch during this run and it carried me through perfectly fine. Her next summon is Genbu the turtle, Genbu does not act as a perfect defense here anymore but instead he heals up her health a bit, a very handy attack for healing instead of running to save points all the time. Her next one is her ultimate one and her first strongest attack Seiryuu the dragon! Now that dragon was overpowered back in Rondo and still is here! And what is more is you can control where the dragon flies at! This move if you can manage to call it destroys all! It even makes Galamoth look like a joke in seconds. Then she has Suzaku the red bird but instead of raining down fire across the screen she instead calls in a familiar to help her fore a bit. And last but not least as if she couldn`t get anymore overpowerd as she is she can summon the four beasts yes all four of her animal friends at one time and with this she becomes immune to ALL DAMAGE!!! For a short amount of time so to put everything into perspective Maria is awesome in this game and neither Richter nor Alucard can really bring much to the table to match her. I go through any of the areas i forgot to visit and clear them out and explore them, in the process also getting rid of any bosses I may not have gotten to in the last part, such as the Mummy Man which I make fast work of heh he wasn`t any match for Richter`s greatness. Once I am through with everything I head down and face off against Shaft ending Richter`s journey. Too bad he cannot fight Dracula neither him or Maria I wish they could.
