I am not the only one with this theory but for whatever reason, its probably being talked about the least despite how likely it would seem to be. Due to that, in order to make a good case Ive had to pull clips from a quite eclectic selection of sources, both current and old, and I tried to edit it up to convey the points without getting TOO boring and information-dense. For the sake of humility I would be disingenuous to not additionally mention that my weak points in my own tolerance of discomfort and change are at least partially due to idiotic mistakes I often make, and as I mentioned, its a culmination of many things that has affected my emotional regulation soo intensely. As verbose as that vent-post was, for anyone who took the time to read it, I felt understanding my mindset while editing this is needed to experience it as I intend for people to. My predominant role in all my social circles, is that of the archetypal jester, so most have come to expect absurdity, cynical sarcasm and corny goofball shit in everything I post. But this one was more of an attempt to capture the angst within the current zeitgeist. My entire life, the thing that has never failed to reward me with a brief, yet necessary, sensation of being a human with a purpose, has been my ability to make others laugh. If I wasn't funny, if I never was, I'm not sure I would even still be here. Laughter is the rawest and most sincere, involuntary expression of genuine joy and amusement, and I thank the Lord for programming our brains to be able to experience this. It's the quickest, honest and least manipulative method of making oneself instantly more likable. Its both helped me make the best friends ive ever had, and gotten me out of some risky, awkward real life situations. But I digress.
