What about other religions? | Basic Questions for Christians #3
Apologeet (apologetics)There are hundreds of religions in the world. Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius, Hinduism, New Age... they all try to answer the same fundamental questions: Who are we? Why do we exist? And how can we be saved? But according to the Christian faith, there is a big difference. In all religions, man tries to reach heaven — but in Christianity, God Himself came to us. In this episode of Basic Questions for Christians, you will discover why Jesus says: ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.’ (John 14:6) We look at how Christianity differs from other religions, why, according to the Bible, there are ultimately only two types of religion, and what it means that Jesus' tomb is empty. 👉 Keep watching until the end, because that's when I share why this one difference changes everything. 📺 And don't forget: this is part 3 of the series Basic Questions for Christians — check out parts 1 and 2 for more fundamental questions about faith! 💬 Let us know in the comments: Which religion do you think comes closest to the truth? Was the New Testament written centuries later? | Basic Questions for Christians #7
Apologeet (apologetics)Many people say that the books of the New Testament were written long after Jesus. If that is true, how can we still trust them? In this video, we will look at what is really known about the sources of the New Testament. Who wrote them? When were they written? And why can we be so sure that they weren't just made up? The writers of the New Testament were not dreamers, but people who lived shortly after the events they described. Their work was read, reviewed and confirmed by eyewitnesses who were there themselves. And that makes the Bible different from any other ancient document in history. In this episode, you will discover why the sources of the New Testament are reliable, early and historically accurate — and why they cannot be fabricated stories. 📌 Watch the other episodes in the series Basic Questions for Christians. 📌 Subscribe to the channel and press the bell so you don't miss anything. Genocide in the Bible?! | Basic Questions for Christians #8
Apologeet (apologetics)“The Bible — a cruel book full of violence and genocide?” That’s a common accusation, especially against the Old Testament. God seems to command the destruction of entire nations — like the Canaanites. But is that really what happened? And how can a loving God allow such things? In this episode of Fundamental Questions for Christians, we take an honest look at one of the most challenging topics in Scripture: the wars of the Old Testament and God’s judgment on the nations. We discover that these events were not acts of ethnic cleansing, but divine justice against extreme moral corruption. Even in judgment, God was patient, fair, and merciful. 👉 God gave the Canaanites 400 years to turn from their evil. 👉 He condemned their deeds, not their ethnicity. 👉 And even in destruction, He offered salvation — like to Rahab, the woman who was rescued through faith. Ultimately, this points to Jesus Christ — the One who took our judgment upon Himself so we could receive mercy. That is not cruelty — that is love in its purest form. 🎯 Stay until the end for a deeper understanding. 📖 Read more on my website (link below). 👍 Like this video and 🔔 Subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss the next episode of Fundamental Questions for Christians. ❗ The original video dates from 2020, I have slightly edited it, but the content is still valid! #BibleExplained #GenocideInTheBible #Christianity #FaithQuestions #BibleStudy #OldTestament #GodOfLove #FundamentalQuestionsForChristians23 views 1 comment -

Is there Only One God? | Basic Questions for Christians #2
Apologeet (apologetics)Are there multiple gods? Or is there really only one Creator? In this episode of Basic Questions for Christians, we dive into one of the oldest and most fundamental questions people have ever asked: 👉 How do Christians know that there is only one God? We look at three ways in which God has revealed Himself according to the Bible: 🌍 Nature – the order and beauty of creation point to one Designer. 🙏 Spirituality – our inner hunger for worship points to something higher. ⚖️ Morality – our moral compass testifies to a universal Lawgiver. Whether you are a believer or a sceptic, this is an episode that challenges you to think further. Let go of your preconceptions for a moment and listen — because if there really is one God, it changes everything. 📖 Bible verses: Romans 1:19-20 | Romans 2:14-15 | Romans 1:18 📺 Next episode: ‘Are all religions actually the same?’ 📺 Previous episode: ‘Who made God?’ ❗ The original video dates from 2020, I have slightly edited it, but the content is still valid! 💬 Share your thoughts in the comments! 👍 Like, 📢 share, and 🔔 subscribe to the Apologeet channel so you don't miss a single video. #GodExists #ChristianFaith #Apologetics #BasicQuestionsForChristians #EvidenceForGod #BibleExplanation #FaithAndScience #Monotheism14 views 1 comment -
Who Created God? | Basic Questions for Christians #1
Apologeet (apologetics)Who created God? This is perhaps the most frequently asked question of every Christian. If everything needs a cause, who or what caused God? In this first episode of 'Basic Questions for Christians', we dive into the Kalam cosmological argument – a classic and powerful philosophical proof that points to the existence of an eternal, timeless, and personal Creator. We explore why this argument holds up logically, what it says about the nature of God, and why the question “Who created God?” ultimately falls short. 🔍 IN THIS VIDEO YOU WILL DISCOVER: 🔹 What the Kalam cosmological argument really says 🔹 Why God has no beginning and therefore needs no cause 🔹 How logic and faith go hand in hand 🔹 Why our understanding of God is limited – and why that is meaningful 📖 ‘He who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light...’ — 1 Timothy 6:16 💬 THINK ALONG: How would you answer this question if someone asked you?
