Judges (Book 7)

The Israelite tribes Judah and Simeon fight against the Canaanites. Judah and Dan have trouble driving out Caanan.

An angel confronts Israel, as most of the tribes did not drive out the Canaanites.

Israel disobeys God and ends up oppressed. Ehud is appointed as a deliverer, and devises a plan to murder the king.

God commands Gideon (aka Jerubbaal) to gather 300 men to go against Midian.

The tribe of Ephriam gets angry with Gideon for not including them, which starts a civil war.

Abimalech becomes Israel's first king.

Israel disobeys God again. Things get so bad that Israel quits idol worship on their own.
