It's Lola's first ever school sports day and, after much deliberation, she decides to enter the egg-and-spoon race - the most difficult race of all. How is she ever going to keep her egg on her spoon? The answer is concentration, and lots of it.

Usually Lola just loves going to school but recently she is not so keen. It's all the counting and the writing and the reading - especially the reading. Poor Lola is feeling the pressure, but who better to help her deal with it than Charlie? Before long Lola is actually reading her new storybook and not just making it up.
