Briefing by Chief of the Air Defence Missile Forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces Major General Aleksandr Romanenkov. ▫️At night, from 28 to 29 December 2025, the Kiev regime attempted to deliver a terrorist attack using a large number of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles at the residence of the President of the Russian Federation in Novgorod region. ▫️ Around 19.20 of 28 December 2025, radio-technical units of the Russian Aerospace Forces detected an aerial attack by fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles operating at extremely low altitudes from the territory of Sumy and Chernigov regions of Ukraine. ▫️ As the map shows, the enemy delivered the strike from several directions at the residence of the President of the Russian Federation over territory of Bryansk, Smolensk, Tver, and Novgorod regions by 91 unmanned aerial vehicles. ▫️ During the air defence battle, all Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by Russian air defence troops and means. Up to 20 militants have been neutralised. ▪️ In total, more than 190 troops, one U.S.-made HMMWV armoured fighting vehicle, one field artillery gun, and 18 motor vehicles were eliminated in the Zapad Group's area of responsibility.
