What is the significance of the wonderful rock formations we see in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan? When were they deposited? Many thousands or millions of years ago as the long age people believe? Or, recently by Noah's Flood? This talk shows how the Noah's Flood record helps us to understand the geology of our area. This talk will look at the geology of specific locations in Wisconsin in a chronological "tour" of the geologic processes that operated during the stages of the global Flood and during the subsequent ice age. We can see features associated with the breaking up of the fountains of the deep, flood sedimentation, formations formed by receding flood waters, and ice age features all in our own backyard. This presentation will review the origin of the idea of millions of years and the methodology of Carbon-14 dating. Several other scientific findings that pertain to the age of the earth as well as some startling results will be discussed.

Today, Bible-believers are a great minority among practicing scientists and are subject to much persecution. Yet, modern science was developed on principles directly derived from Christian theology. Despite that history, science today operates without even token admission of its roots. How does this affect current scientific practices? We will examine three examples of how the turn from belief in God has affected modern thought: geomorphology (the shape of the earth's surface), fossilization (the process of preserving the remains of living organisms), and genetics (specifically as it relates to the genetic history of mankind). In each of these subject areas, we will examine the evolutionary scenarios put forth to date and weigh them against solid biblical exposition. In the end, we will see that the evolutionary conclusions for each of these subjects is derived more from starting assumptions than it is from reality. Science belongs under the umbrella of Christianity.

Rates of erosion are known and the earth's crust above sea level should be eroded flat within 10 million years at present rates of erosion. Even if the crust is rising in some areas, there are sedimentary layers reputed to be hundreds of millions of years lying on top. This is not compatible with the current theories of earth history.

Was Minnesota really cut gouged and bulldozed by glaciers? Is there scientific evidence for this? There are 10 geological formations that are said to be made by glaciers. Everyone of them can be accounted for by a world wide Flood. When a parent asked for a place to show his kids evidence for glaciers having been in Minnesota, the head of the DNR said "There is no place" In spite of no scientific evidence, students in the Midwest have been taught for over 100 years that the land was crushed, gouged, and bulldozed by glaciers for millions of years. Glacier theory depends on evidence provided by the gravel deposits they supposedly left. This evidence can be interpreted two ways, it is either water or glacier formed. Geology books say that glacier rocks, sand & gravel will be sharp and broken, like shattered glass, while water formed stones will be rounded. That is the key to the evidence. Every place I have gone to look at the glacier evidence has turned out to be rounded materials showing that it was a result of a huge catastrophic flood.
