How to select which food is better - ENS diet relief for dry / blocked nostrils Empty Nose Syndrome
SpriketEating only certain foods and going to sleep without eating several hours will help keep nostrils more humid and also will help getting nostrils unblocked during sleep on persons with ENS type 2 https://rumble.com/playlists/ICiDuxm-d-A I eat my last meal around 1pm. A few of the foods I stay away from: milk, cheese (all dairy products), potatoes, pizza, nuts, any soft bread, mayo, soy, spices (including pepper), honey, yogurt, chocolate, dietary fiber, food with oxalates (kidney damage - all nuts, spinach, rhubarb, sesame, tahini, hummus, beans, cocoa and chocolate). I don't eat bananas because my kidneys are already weak and too much potassium is causing high blood pressure. I have a diet based on pasta (I prefer 'penne' type), toasted dry naan type bread (fairly dry), green salad at each meal (great against constipation), berry fruits, fish, apricots, peaches, apples. ENS can also cause constipation so I take dietary fiber after each meal.8 views 2 comments
