Song by Kanye West created during his "Yandhi" era, when it shifted to a more gospel like sound, more specifically in 2019 right before the album turned into "Jesus Is King". This song features Chris Stylez. Helped produced by 7 Aurelius, Irv Gotti, and Bink!. Huge shoutout to "yevolved" on YouTube. This dude makes evolutions of different Kanye songs, detailing all the changes and what led to the creation of the song in a short simple manner. I had never heard of this version of Brothers until then. I love the Ant Clemons one, but I cannot believe nobody mentions how this started during the "LOVE EVERYONE" album, turned into Violent Nights, and would later be turned back into the original song "Brothers", then eventually sort of released on another dude's Instagram during the Yandhi era that would bring back the first versions sound but with new great lyrics. A lot of people love v19 and it does have great lyrics, but I thought v17 goes harder One of the best beat drops I heard.
