Women of Resistance

A mother of three young children says she is scared of every sound of her children but, despite that, she will never leave Gaza. Trump and Netanyahu can do whatever they want, but they aren't going anywhere.

We aren't asking for entertainment or luxuries. We don't need restaurants and cafés. We are only asking for the basic human needs - light, water, electricity, cooking gas, alongside education and safety. Education and safety are very important for us. Says Ola Abd el-Aal, a Palestinian woman in Gaza who spends most of her days volunteering at the Palestinian Red Crescent. Sakina is joined by Parminder Chadha, a writer, musician, activist and healer.
