Day 1: Foodie Adventures Around Town We kicked off our trip by eating our way through the city! Breakfast was at "The Plug" — a fun start to the day. Then we stopped by Donerland, one of our favorite regular spots, before checking into our hotel. Later that evening, we dined at Sexy-Land, where we enjoyed the famous “Sichuan” — hands down the spiciest and hottest food in all of Amsterdam! Day 2: Exploring Amsterdam on Two Wheels + Delicious Eats Wondering how to spend a day in Amsterdam? Let me share our recent adventure! We began with a scenic three-hour bike ride — the perfect way to experience Amsterdam’s iconic biking culture. After renting bikes locally, we cruised through the sprawling Vondelpark, stopping to soak in beautiful views. Riding along the canals, we admired the city’s stunning architecture. For lunch, we stopped at Siga La Vica, an Argentinian spot with a relaxed vibe. We enjoyed ribs, wings, corn, shrimp, and freshly baked bread — all delicious and satisfying! That evening, we headed to Coba, a lively Mexican restaurant with friendly staff. We savored dishes like octopus, ceviche, soft-shell crab, and veal tongue tacos — fresh, flavorful, and memorable. After dinner, we took a leisurely walk, soaking up the vibrant nighttime atmosphere of Amsterdam. All in all, it was a fantastic day filled with biking, sightseeing, and tasting amazing food. We highly recommend these spots if you’re visiting Amsterdam! Day 3: Smooth Sailing Ahead Today went flawlessly! We checked out of the Holiday Inn without a hitch, navigated from the hotel to the metro and then to the ship with ease. Boarding the cruise was seamless too.
