My job lets me see many apartments in various states. Figured I'd start sharing these.
For the sake of my paycheck, I keep these anonymous.

Apartments: You Don't Know What You Don't Know
DaelyDriveryeah that lobby, and all those amenities sure are nice aren't they? and the tour was pleasant. Here's your unit 4 days before you move in. and no, it's not ty Pennington's people doing the remodel. it's a bunch of f****** Mexicans. And how many corners do they cut? Yes. I can't tell you who any of the groups are that own any of these communities. because it's my job and, I'm not going to jeopardize that. but I will show you what I can show you anonymously. you'll just go ahead and pay the extra to live in luxury apartments you say? Well, there's bad news and there's worse news: Section 8. Look it up.22 views 2 comments -
More Section 8 Shenanigans
DaelyDriverCool, right? gonna remind you that *you* paid for these chimps to live this way. Section 8 rent/mortgage is paid by taxpayers. Up to like, $6,800 a month or something close to that in places like NYC.20 views 1 comment -
One Of The Nicer Places
DaelyDriverBrand new, no turnovers, Section 8 hasn't screwed the pooch here, yet. Tub got damaged during construction, I'm fixing it.17 views 1 comment -
A D Tier Community
Sloth on the DaelyThis apartment is a study in how to do everything wrong for an owner group.19 views -
A Rather Pleasant Pod
DaelyDriverI wouldn't say there's room enough to live, here, but I've seen worse. I'll go ahead and ballpark this unit at $1,400 monthly.7 views 1 comment -
A Better Deal Still
Sloth on the DaelyI was wrong. $1623 before extras & utilities. About $2,100 monthly or so without pets. Not great, not terrible.31 views -
No Walkability, Give Us All Your Money Anyway!
Sloth on the DaelyNot worth more than $1,900. Let the Section 8's have this entire community. You can do way better for less.40 views 1 comment -
$1,800 On Average. Just No.
DaelyDriverThe Community isn't terrible (not great either). The Owner Group is pretty good. The location is pretty good. But you're in stacked common-hall buildings, and there's no designated parking. Quality is higher than many communities, but doesn't deserve the asking price. You can get more square feet for your money elsewhere. Are You Single? Consider Pad Split. the rooms are usually furnished, and placed in renovated homes. $800-$1,200 monthly, utilities and web included. Sadly it's your best bet since these psychos want you to be grossing TRIPLE what they want to charge you. At that point, you could be paying on an RV and lot hopping for less. Hang tight! Open apartments and unpurchased homes will skyrocket in supply as layoffs continue and construction tapers off. On the other side of that, these groups will have to be less retarded with their rent offerings.37 views 1 comment
