Cartoon Network Sept 17, 2007 Tom & Jerry Ep 30 Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Mouse
TThe Classic ChannelNear a basement window are two empty milk bottles whom the milkman comes and replaces them with new ones. Through the basement window, Tom reaches for one of the bottles and then snatches it, rushing into the living room to lick the lid of the milk and pour it in his bowl. Then he put the empty milk bottle in potted plant and drink it, but Jerry also wants Tom's milk. Tom makes various attempts to catch Jerry, but when they all fail, the cat dreams up a murderous plot to rid himself of his annoyance. The next scene shows Tom mixing dangerous chemicals such as moth balls, acid, ammonia, and poison into his milk. Upon mixing the deadly elixir, the chemicals cause the spoon to dissolve. After seeing a fly taking a little sip from the bowl before crying in pain and then dropping dead, Tom carefully carries the bowl and places it outside Jerry's hole, confident that his potion works, gleefully watching Jerry about to drink from the bowl. Seeing the bowl of milk once again, the mouse drinks the milk, causing him to yell in pain and collapse "dead". Just before Tom can celebrate over the "dead" mouse, the full effects of the potion take place: Jerry starts to turn into a super-strong mega muscular version of himself who is now more than able to defend himself against the cat, only one thing is on Jerry's mind: To fight back against Tom! Tom panics and backs off as Jerry advances. He first smashes a book from the telephone desk on Jerry, but the book punches through Jerry, who proceeds to rip the book apart. Tom then tries whacking Jerry with a fire poker, but only leaves imprints of Jerry on it. He then rushes and shuts the door to the living room, but Jerry knocks it over, and Tom rushes to hide into the safe, only for Jerry to drill a hole on the safe's door with his bare fist and pull Tom out. Jerry's seemingly infinite strength allows him to smack Tom against a safe, but the potion's effects wear off and Jerry returns to his normal size. After realizing he can no longer pull the cat around, he dives away from the cat and into the milk bowl. Tom grabs the mouse out of the bowl as he screams and turns into the super-Jerry a second time, whom now grabs Tom and hurls him by his whiskers before the potion wears off. As Jerry realizes he is normal again he simply ties Tom's whiskers and tries to drink more potion. The feline upends the bowl with his foot before the mouse can drink enough, and the chase continues across the kitchen. Jerry first traps Tom's tail into a waffle maker, making Tom scream in pain and turning it into a waffle. He then hides in the refrigerator, and as Tom opens to look for him, Jerry is revealed to be at the door of the refrigerator, and kicks Tom in, trapping him inside. Once launching Tom into the kitchen refrigerator, Jerry hurriedly attempts to make more of the concoction himself, with a different formula such as shoe cleaner, more mothballs, a little acid, ammonia, and a drop of red poison. Tom however, escapes from the refrigerator covered with food, asparagus out from mouth. Seeing the cat, Jerry immediately dives into the bowl of milk concoction, but Tom takes it away. Snarling at the mouse, Tom stomps on Jerry's tail to prevent him from escaping. Tom sadistically glares at Jerry, forcing him to watch as he greedily drinks the potion to turn into a super-strong mega muscular version of himself. The cat grins evilly at Jerry as Tom grows to an enormous size, but then an explosion erupts from Tom, resulting in him shrinking to a smaller size than Jerry. For a second, both of them stare at each other. Then, Jerry realizes, much to his delight, that Tom is now smaller than him. Jerry grabs his tail from Tom's foot, causing Tom to lose his balance. Now terrified, Tom tries to flee, but Jerry holds onto Tom's tail and punches Tom's face. This triggers the cat to shrink more. Jerry then pulls Tom's tail and snaps it. Tom yells in a high-pitched scream and shrinks one last time all the way to the size of a little ant. The tide changes for the roles of both cat and mouse, Jerry chases an ant-sized Tom with a flyswatter.178 views 3 comments -
Cartoon Network Sept 11, 2007 Tom & Jerry Ep 4 Fraidy Cat
TThe Classic ChannelThe cartoon begins with Tom listening to the radio, and being frightened by the horror story being told. Halfway into the story, the dramatics begin happening to Tom. At the particularly grim conclusion, Tom runs away and hides in a flowerpot as an evil scream is uttered. Upon hearing the voice say "And that, my dear children, concludes this evening's Witching Hour", Tom sighs with relief, and is asked the question, "And you do believe in ghosts...don't you?" Gulping, Tom nods. Jerry has been observing the whole thing and laughing to himself, winking to the audience and proceeds to pull down the curtain and release it. The flapping noise scares the cat, who hides only to discover that the curtain made the noise, still rolling up. He sighs with relief for it is not what he thought it was. Jerry tiptoes away, and under the still-swooning cat, bursts a radiator water line, burning the cat's behind and launching him into the air making Tom yelp in pain. Tom escapes the stream and runs towards a closet, panting heavily as he holds onto the door. Behind him is a vacuum with a white nightshirt, which Jerry approaches and peeks at the cat from the vantage point. Seeing the cat still recovering from the second shock, he activates the vacuum, which appears to be a ghost. Tom hears it, and without looking behind him, knows that this is something very terrifying. He makes panicked gestures towards the vacuum and faints, upon which Jerry turns off the vacuum, pleased. To wake up Tom, he squirts him with a speedy jet of water from a bottle. Tom awakens with a start, spits the water out of his mouth, and shakes it out of his ears. Tom sighed with relief that the noise is gone. Once again, before Tom can recover from this blast, Jerry reactivates the vacuum and paces it towards Tom. The rug he is lying on gets sucked up, and Tom's tail is caught in the opening. Tom jumps out of the vacuum, running against the heavy gale as objects are sucked into the vacuum. He manages to grab ahold of the telephone receiver, but let’s go when he is rebuked by the operator, and ends up holding onto the lower stair pillar. All of Tom's nine lives are sucked out and form a chain of cats holding on to each other. Life 9 bites Tom's tail, causing his host to yelp with pain and speed off, freeing all the other lives. Life 1 smiles at the camera as he is freed. Tom continues to run around the corner and bumps his head on the wall, whereupon 8 of the lives re-join him, and the ninth swings his arms before following suit. Tom instantly recovers and hears the vacuum again, and tries to find somewhere to run, and sees a shocking scene: Jerry operating the ghost-vacuum. Jerry continues to flip the switch and invites Tom to laugh with him. It takes a few looks and a peek into the distance for the mouse to realize that the cat, instead of being scared, is standing behind him. Jerry gulps nervously after he notices this. He resignedly walks out, and then dashes behind the nightshirt and makes a neophyte attempt to scare Tom by making a ghostly noise and waving his arms. Tom's I-mean-business look finally catches on, and Jerry waves and narrowly escapes from the leap from Tom pouncing. Jerry runs towards a piano and prepares another, similar scare for the cat, but it fails to work. They chase across the piano keys, and Jerry draws back a round piece of furniture and it hits the cat in the mouth. Just then after being woken up by all the noise, Mammy Two Shoes walks into the room with a rolling pin and a similar nightshirt on thinking there is a burglar in the house. Jerry turns around and runs up a baking ladder, and then hides himself in a tub of flour. As Mammy slowly sneaks through the hall, Tom turns the corner and sees her posterior. Believing this to be Jerry and his vacuum again, Tom slithers across the floor and under the table, pounces on Mammy and bites her bottom, and this causes her to scream in pain. Off-screen, Mammy yells at the cat, hits him several times with her rolling pin, then throws Tom off who yowls in pain, realizing he made a huge mistake. Jerry pulls himself out of the tin of flour, waves at Tom whose in the process of getting thrown out, but soon runs into his own reflection on a vase, looking like a ghost. He in fright yelps and runs into his hole. At this time Jerry pokes his head out and makes a confused look at the camera.215 views 1 comment -
Cartoon Network Sept 2, 2007 Tom & Jerry Ep 15, Ep 9, & Ep 126
TThe Classic ChannelEpisode 15 The Bodyguard Jerry frees Spike the bulldog from the dog-catcher's truck. Spike promises to protect Jerry from Tom by responding to the sound of a whistle. Episode 9 Sufferin' Cats! Tom competes with an alley cat (Meathead) to see who can catch Jerry first. Episode 126 Buddies Thicker Than Water On a snowy night in Expensive Arms Apartments from New York City, Jerry is comfortably asleep in his hole inside a penthouse, while Tom tries to keep from freezing to death below in the alley, leaving the past tough owner. He whistles to Jerry but there was no reply. He writes a note, slips it into a bottle, and throws it up to hit the penthouse window. However, the bottle lands back down and covers Tom's head, so he blows it back up and this time it reaches the top floor with success. Jerry, awakened by the noise, goes out to the balcony and finds both this note and a second one sent up by Tom: Help! I'm freezing. Your old pal, Tom. P.S. I'm also starving. Tom. Rushing to the alley, Jerry finds the frozen-solid Tom and drags him back upstairs on a trash can lid. He then sets Tom inside the hot-air vent, thaws him out with an electric blanket. Tom thanks Jerry by kissing him on the cheek. Jerry then provides him with an "Instant Gourmet" dehydrated meal. Tom and Jerry lounge about the penthouse, listening to music and drinking everything in the owner's liquor cabinet while laughing themselves silly. Her return startles the inebriated pair, and Jerry dives into his hole as she grabs Tom and prepares to throw him out again. Tom grabs Jerry and shows him to the owner, throwing her into a panic until he pitches the mouse off the balcony, betraying him. While Tom enjoys the owner's favor, Jerry angrily digs himself out of the snow and sneaks back in, using some of the owner's face powder to disguise himself as a ghost for revenge. When Jerry puts an album of spooky music on the stereo and switches off the lights, Tom believes that the mouse's ghost has come to haunt him. Tom hides in a garbage can and he sees Jerry coming. Tom shook and shivered and popped out and hid under a couch with a pillow over his head. Jerry then used a fishing pole’s string and tied it around his waist and moaned and groaned like a ghost and hid above Tom, who looked up and saw Jerry’s ghost disguise and hid in the winery. Jerry went inside. Tom struggled and crashed through the rectangular wall and was in pieces. He flees through the penthouse and out onto the balcony's edge, where the snow washes off part of Jerry's makeup and exposes the ruse. Tom now aware becomes menacingly furious and retracts his claws out preparing to strike. Despite this, Jerry stands his ground as if he is accepting his fate but before the cat can do so, the snowdrift under his feet gives way and Tom falls down to the alley. He quickly writes a new note and throws it up to Jerry: Help! It's freezing down here! Your Old Pal, Tom. Jerry responds by throwing a pair of ice skates and a hockey stick down to him, then goes back to his hole to finish sleeping.207 views 1 comment -
Cartoon Network July 28, 2000 Tom & Jerry Ep 147 Puss 'N' Boats
TThe Classic ChannelA crate is loaded onto the ship that contains cheese, according to the stamps on the outside in Spanish, French and English. The smell drifts into a mousehole. Jerry, sleeping in a hammock with a sailor's hat on, is woken up by the smell. The smell seems to have a life of its own, as it drags backwards and takes a sleeping Jerry with it. The yellow stream opens one of Jerry's eyes to reveal he is dreaming of cheese, and then bops Jerry on the head. Jerry lazily opens his eyes and sees the crate of cheese. Jerry salutes the stream, wakes himself up, and runs toward it, but soon runs into the stream holding out a "hand". It points out that Tom is guarding the boarding ramp. Jerry slumps until he sees Tom salute the captain ascending the ramp. Jerry goes into his hole and takes out duplicate clothes. Tom is puzzled to see a second captain, but all the same must salute as Jerry-captain prances up the steps. As soon as Jerry is up on the ramp, Tom investigates the situation. He notices the captain is moving slow, there is an empty space where his head should be, and then spots the body of the mouse poking out from under the uniform. He immediately thinks that Jerry has gone stark raving stupid. Tom smirks and pushes the ramp aside such that Jerry falls into the water. Only the captain's hat is seen for a few seconds, and then out of the water, a shark pops out of the water and almost eats the mouse. Jerry is stark white and frantically runs into his hole and shuts the door. Tom is laughing himself silly until he sees the real captain falling off the edge of the ship because the ramp is not there. Because there is no time to put the ramp back in place, Tom dashes over and holds his hands up, ready to catch the falling officer, but fails when he only squashes the cat through a hole in the wood. The shark then pops out, and attacks Tom, but fails to eat Tom, who pushes himself through the pier and escapes the large fish. Tom's head is stuck in the board, but although he has escaped the shark, he is safe. Jerry then proceeds to twist the board like a helicopter propeller as Tom lifts off. The cat stops the board's rotation and unravels his neck, and then frees himself from the board. Tom sighs in relief until he sees that he is falling toward the sea. He grabs the board again and uses it to actually fly like a span. He dives after an unsuspecting Jerry, and when Jerry spots him, Tom chases him into a vent pipe. However, Tom is squeezed through the hole in his board and bounces around through the pipe. Tom crawls through successively shorter widths of pipe in order to reach the mouse, and when the chase exits the plumbing, Tom is compressed into a cylinder with legs barely a centimeter wide, forming himself in some kind of a walking stick. When the cat realizes this, he takes a deep breath and uncompresses himself. Tom grabs a large hose and dashes after the mouse. Jerry has opened the crate of cheese and is munching away at it when Tom thrusts the hose in his face. Jerry braces for the deluge, but when Tom opens the hose, nothing comes out because it is not turned on. Tom rattles the hose cluelessly as Jerry turns it on. The stream of water and the hose blast the cat around randomly until the hose forms a rocket as Tom blasts off into the stratosphere. An astronaut doing a spacewalk from the Gemini spacecraft waves at him. Tom then points the hose upward, and then soon sees he's about to fall. He then stops the water flow, but finds out when this causes the hose to inflate to a gigantic size. Tom grins innocently and then the hose bursts. The cat falls to the water down below. Tom panics, and then soon sees a lifesaver ring. Tom coasts down, confident he will be saved; however, this was an elaborate trap set up by Jerry, who threw out the ring. Jerry whistles as the shark pops out, confused, but then sees the cat and swallows him, Tom ends up being gone. Soon, however, the shark luckily cannot stomach the cat, and spits him out, as misfortune would have it, into the ship's furnace. Tom cries out in pain as he runs out of the furnace: his tail is on fire as he screams in alarm and tries to put it out. Tom knows that the shark is waiting for him in the water, but as the fire on his tail grows larger, Tom has no alternative. The shark chases him through the water and out of sight. Jerry takes his place as the "guard" of the ship. He blows a whistle, salutes the captain, and then does a jig.165 views 3 comments
