The Life of Christ

Jesus Christ is the LOGOS of God, The plan of God made manifest. God prepared the world for the coming Messiah, The Seed of the Woman and the Son of David. His plan is fulfilled in the fulness of time as God sends His Son as Saviour,, Redeemer and King

How did God prepare Mary & Joseph to be the parents and guardians of the Messiah, the Son of God. How were their hearts, minds and spirits prepared for such a weighty calling.

Joseph & Mary Ponder the meanings and fulfillments of the prophecies concerning their soon to be born Son, The Messiah. Considering what could have and what did occur in Bethlehem. The closing with the visit of the Shepherds.

The circumcision and Presentation of Baby Jesus. The responses of Simeon and Anna. The arrival of the Magi / Wise men. Looking at the circumstances of the times of King Herod. Why were Herod and "ALL" Jerusalem "troubled" at their arrival. Who were they? When did they arrive?

Satan has waited 4000 years to face "the seed of the woman" When the Father announces "This is my Son in whom I am well pleased". Satan opposes Jesus in the wilderness, tempting Him with the very things he robbed from Adam. How does the truly wisest and most gentle man on earth respond to the temptations set before him.

First impressions. Jesus starts His public ministry at the Feast of Passover with the cleansing of the temple. Despite all of the miraculous signs Jesus performs the continually demand of Him "a sign from heaven". In their efforts to accuse Him they continually hold the Sabbath above mercy and sacrifice. As Jesus reveals their hypocrisy they continue to harden their hearts.

The Pharisees go from "Knowing Jesus has come from God" to plotting with the Herodians to have Him arrested & killed. Some Pharisees and Priests do not agree with the plan but instead become followers of Jesus.
