Never Alone: The Power of Veterans Helping Veterans
ALLATRADr. Prince Taylor — U.S. Navy veteran, national expert on loneliness, and Deputy Director of the Center for Development and Civic Engagement at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs — leads one of the largest federal volunteer programs in the United States, coordinating 46,000 volunteers who contribute over 4.4 million service hours annually to support veterans. In this interview, Dr. Taylor outlines the origins and impact of the Compassionate Contact Corps, a pandemic-era initiative that addresses veteran isolation through structured peer outreach, weekly check-ins, and community reintegration. Recognized by the American Red Cross and highlighted in The New York Times, the program has become a benchmark for scalable, human-centered care models. He challenges the reductive public narrative that frames veterans as either “heroes” or “broken,” emphasizing instead that most exist in a nuanced reality — seeking dignity, purpose, and meaningful connection, not pity or glorification. Dr. Taylor also addresses Ukrainian veterans directly, urging them to accept community support: “Allow your communities to support you. Let them fight for you in the ways only they can.” This reflects his broader view that the veteran experience transcends borders and fosters a unique, cross-national bond rooted in shared service and sacrifice. In today’s climate of disconnection, Dr. Taylor’s work is a quiet revolution: proving that volunteering heals both the giver and the receiver, that loneliness can be treated like a public health crisis, and that kindness — paired with integrity — is the foundation of true leadership. 00:00 – Introduction: “Without a home, everything is exposed” 05:33 - About Ukrainian veterans: “Your communities want to be there for you” 08:03 - “What's the goal?” 09:00 - “We are a lot more similar than we are dissimilar” 11:20 - “A lot of them experience some kind of loneliness” 17:42 - “Most veterans don't want to be seen as heroes” 23:26 - Message for Ukrainian veterans 27:40 - “Can I have a veteran call” 32:41 - What moves veteran volunteers to act 37:38 - “If you have an older veteran near you - do something nice to them” 40:42 - “30% of people phoning these suicide prevention lines not suicidal, they're just lonely” 42:40 - “We have created the TEDEX so we can share some of their stories” 50:04 - “I believe in next generation” This interview is part of ALLATRA TV’s global series on civic resilience, intercultural dialogue, and the shared values that unite humanity — from Miami to Kyiv, from military service to everyday acts of compassion. #VeteransAffairs #HumanConnection #VeteranSupport #CivicEngagement #ALLATRATV #MentalHealth #Volunteerism41 views -
ALLATRA IPM | OSCE 2025: Freedom of Religion vs. Anti-Cult Manipulation
ALLATRA🎙 Speech by Roman Gural, Ambassador of ALLATRA International Public Movement, delivered at the OSCE Conference "Democratic Institutions and Freedom of Religion." In his address, Mr. Gural emphasized that the strength of democracy is tested not in times of peace, but in times of war - and that Ukraine today stands as a vivid example of defending human rights and freedom of belief even under Russian aggression. The speech exposes how the so-called "anticult" movement - originally developed and funded by Russian state-backed networks such as RACIRS - spreads across Europe, undermining democratic principles and inciting interreligious hatred under the guise of "protecting society." Roman Gural calls on European institutions to: • Investigate anticult structures operating under Russian influence, • Recognize cognitive and ideological manipulation as a hybrid threat, • Protect freedom of conscience for all communities, large and small. 🕊 "Defending the freedom of religion - even for the smallest communities - means defending democracy itself." #freedom #anticult #racirs #freedomofreligion #democracy #osce126 views 1 comment -

Analytical Review of the International Activities of the ALLATRA Movement. Sheikh Dr. Rafa Halabi
ALLATRASheikh Dr. Rafa Halabi — representative of the Druze community on Mount Carmel (Israel), director of the Jerusalem office of the International Organization for Human Rights and the Protection of Public Freedoms, and president of the Organization of Distinguished Gentleman-Captains of the Islamic World. In this video address, Sheikh Dr. Rafa Halabi presents an analytical review of the activities of ALLATRA International Public Movement as civil society’s response to the global polycrisis: climate instability, rising geodynamic activity, environmental degradation, and social vulnerability. The speaker shows how ALLATRA combines the strengths of a transnational advocacy network and an epistemic community: uniting scientists, translating complex data into accessible language, building bridges between scientific knowledge, society, religious and state institutions, while maintaining the principles of decentralization, volunteerism, openness, and transparency. Dr. Halabi explains that today disasters reinforce one another, while conventional response mechanisms cannot keep pace. As a result, as a horizontally organized volunteer community, ALLATRA takes on the role of an “early warning system.” Here science moves beyond narrow disciplines: ALLATRA’s research brings together scattered pieces of climatology, geodynamics, ecology, and medicine into a unified picture that explains the exponential growth of risks. The movement places special emphasis on underestimated factors: from the role of nanoplastics (its impact on climate processes and human health) to geodynamic threats. At the same time, educational work is unfolding: from documentaries and forums to seminars for government institutions, raising scientific literacy and turning knowledge into practices of social resilience. ALLATRA is a story of personal responsibility and the maturation of civil society: when everyone, from scientist to volunteer, becomes a link connecting science, society, religion, and the state for the protection of life. In the final part of the video, Sheikh Rafa Halabi makes a direct and personal appeal not to remain on the sidelines. He calls to support the valuable work being carried out today by ALLATRA volunteers, to integrate their interdisciplinary research into the global agenda, to protect participants from politically motivated persecution, and to expand cooperation between science, society, religions, and states. His message is about the choice each person makes: to turn knowledge into action and become part of the solution for the future of their children and grandchildren.148 views -
Why are ALLATRA and Indigenous Peoples Being Persecuted? The Sheikh Speaks Honestly and Directly
ALLATRAIn this video address, Sheikh Dr. Rafaa Halabi from Daliyat al-Karmel (Israel) raises pressing questions concerning global threats to humanity. He speaks about the persecution of small religious communities, destructive ideologies that continue the Nazi tradition, and the international organization RACIRS, which operates from Russian territory. According to him, its agents are conducting subversive activities in Ukraine in the interests of the aggressor state. The address draws special attention to the following issues: – The threat of an eruption of the Siberian magmatic plume and its potential global consequences, – Persecution of the ALLATRA International Public Movement participants, – The problem of systemic hatred being spread under the guise of academic and religious institutions, – The urgent need for international cooperation to protect human life, dignity, and freedom of religion. This message is addressed to everyone who cares about the fate of our world. #ALLATRA #RafaaHalabi #SheikhAddress#SiberianPlume #RACIRS #FreedomofReligion #InternationalSecurity #NazismToday #GlobalThreats #Genocide21stCentury #SmallPeoples #HumanRights #Druze #Israel #VoiceofTruth #StopRACIRS145 views -
What is ALLATRA
ALLATRAThe ALLATRA International Public Movement is a unique scientific and humanitarian phenomenon of our time. This video presents the key milestones and achievements of ALLATRA’s 30 years of active international work — from groundbreaking climate research and the creation of a unique model for tracking natural disasters to developing solutions capable of saving millions of lives. 🌍🔭 Its comprehensive interdisciplinary research — covering geodynamics, Earth’s core processes, climate cycles, and more — laid the foundation for a scientific model whose forecasts are already being confirmed by real-world events. 🌐 ALLATRA is: ▪ Volunteers from 180 countries ▪ Translations in 150 languages ▪ International forums and conferences ▪ Participation in UN climate summits ▪ Recognition from both the scientific community and religious leaders, including a blessing from Pope Francis during his pontificate 🤝 All ALLATRA initiatives are carried out solely by volunteers. The Movement is not affiliated with politics, religion, commerce, or government institutions and receives no external funding. It is a free and voluntary union of people driven by conscience and a shared commitment to protect human life. ✅ ALLATRA doesn’t just issue warnings—it offers real solutions. Concrete scientific approaches and technologies have been developed to help reduce the consequences of climate and geodynamic disasters. These solutions are already applicable to protecting the environment, infrastructure, the economy, and — most importantly — human lives. 🔥 As climate and geodynamic instability escalates, ALLATRA raises questions that some governments continue to ignore. Its open stance, especially concerning the threat of the Siberian magma plume, has led to pressure and persecution of the Movement’s volunteers. Despite this, volunteers around the world continue to speak the truth and defend fundamental human rights. ALLATRA volunteers pursue a common goal: to minimize the damage to humanity from climate change and natural disasters. In an era of global climate and geodynamic changes, knowledge becomes the key to survival. The more people understand the actual situation, the better chance humanity has to preserve the life of each person. ▪ Official website: https://allatra.org ▪ Press releases and news: https://allatra.org/press-releases ▪ Scientific reports and research: https://allatra.org/research ▪ Documentary film “A Trap for Humanity”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBbbqRzzQGY #ALLATRA #NaturalDisasters #Science476 views 3 comments -
