The game was subsequently re-released under the title of 1Xtreme (as a way of indicating it's a predecessor to 2Xtreme) under the Greatest Hits line, as the ESPN license had expired. When the ball is on the putting green, the 3D view is always from the same fixed point directly South of the hole. Each drive requires three steps. First you must select the golf club (ranging from various irons and woods to sand wedges and putters). Then you select the angle, which may need to be adjusted to account for the wind direction and speed. Finally, you select the range by stopping a power bar at the appropriate point in its movement from the bottom to the top of the screen. The path of the ball is then simulated and displayed in the 3D and overhead views. (Source - MobyGames)7 views -

The game places the player inside a wireframe maze viewed from a first-person perspective. The objective is to navigate corridors, collect point pellets scattered throughout the maze, and avoid roaming creatures that pursue the player. These enemies behave similarly to ghosts in a traditional maze chase game, like that of Pac-Man. Contact with one results in the loss of a life, but collecting certain temporary power items allows the player to turn on the creatures and eliminate them instead. The overall goal of each stage is to consume a required percentage of pellets before choosing to advance to the next maze. Power items appear throughout the maze, offering short-term advantages such as the ability to defeat enemies or temporarily reduce the danger of pursuit. The game tracks score based on pellets collected, enemies defeated during powered-up states, and successful progression through levels. Extra lives may be awarded when score thresholds are reached. Once all lives are lost the run ends and the final score is recorded. (Source - MobyGames)26 views -
