Here's a review of an Ebay purchase of a 1963, never before opened Mattel Ricky Doll outfit called 'Saturday Show.' The outfit is in like new shape!

1965 Francie Fairchild is wearing a dress I made that is based on an original Mattel design for the Japanese market for Francie. This version is made of silk satin, bridal tule, and vintage millinery flowers.

This is a brief overview on how I created a new fabric design, dress, and purse for Francie based on a 1964 Barbie outfit by Mattel. Posted on Instagram last year (2023). I used ProCreate to design the fabric, then printed it on inkjet fabric, cotton lawn. The hat and purse are wool felt.

(This was featured on Instagram last year) I made this costume for my art doll Richard Sherwood (Ricky) based on a costume that Leslie Howard wore in the 1936 movie Romeo and Juliet. It was a difficult project, and since this film, I did finish the last thing...the cording on the sleeves. I sculpted Richard head, painted the face, and rooted the hair, then placed his head on a modified 'Made to Move' Ken doll body.
