He directs the player to answer the payphone at the Xero filling station on Calais Avenue in Little Seoul, where he explains the situation in detail. The FIB is using the new KnoWay autonomous taxi service as a mass surveillance scheme, and he hires the player to help him wipe out the personal data gathered by KnoWay from the FIB servers and ruin their reputation in the process. A Clean Break After accepting the mission, Avi Schwartzman will inform the player that they have everything ready to wipe KnoWay's data from the FIB servers. Avi provides the player with a hacking device to be collected. In order to get fast access to the FIB Headquarters, Avi called the feds and they are coming to the player's current location to arrest them once they have the hacking device in hands. The player must get Busted on purpose to be sent to an interrogation room at the FIB Headquarters. The player is now found at a locked room of one of the top floors of the FIB Headquarters, with their weapons, phone and hacking device confiscated, and being interrogated by a FIB agent. After failing to interrogate the player, the FIB agent leaves the room for a break. In order to escape the interrogation room, the player must collect the pen on the table to open the keypad, and use the instruction manual to identify the "unlock" wire and cut it. After cutting the correct wire, the door will open. (Note: any team members will be held in a separate room than the leader; while the same options exist for exiting their room, only one keypad needs to be hacked in order to open both doors). The player must first retrieve their confiscated items, and use the hacking device provided by Avi to hack the FIB database by connecting the device to a monitor and completing a Hacking minigame. After the database is hacked, the alarm will be triggered and the player is tasked to head to the roof of the building, where a helicopter pilot sent by Avi is waiting on a Swift helicopter. The player must fight their way through a number of armed FIB agents to get to the building roof. Arriving at the roof, they find the pilot's dead body, killed by one of the FIB agents. The must fly the Swift helicopter themselves to Avi's location to return the hacking device and receive his payment. However, the Swift helicopter is taken down by a Buzzard Attack Chopper. (This is a scripted event and cannot be avoided, and the crash landing location is likewise predetermined.) The player survives the helicopter crash, waking up at a beach in the Palomino Highlands, with several armed FIB agents waiting. Avi tells the player to find a way to get to his Tug boat. Seasharks are found at the beach, which the player can use to reach Avi's Tug boat, though they must first run a gauntlet of agents and attack helicopters to get to them. Once they arrive at Avi's Tug boat, the player receives the payment. Avi suggests the player to lay low for a while and go off the grid, or KnoWay will find them, foreshadowing the events of Home Sweet Home. Elite Challenges Complete in under 10:00. Nobody gets wasted. No hacks failed. 35 headshots. No quick restart. Trash Talking After accepting the mission, Avi Schwartzman will inform the player that the KnoWay engineer's briefcase they secured had security intel on the company. However, he needs more intel that is only available on physical documents, not data. Avi has the plan of making the player infiltrate some of the KnoWay's offices disguised as trashmen to collect the intel documents that they have stashed on bags marked "confidential", only to be collected by the FIB. The player is provided with the Refuse Collector's outfit and are told to steal the Trashmaster parked outside Rogers Salvage & Scrap and head towards the first KnoWay office. On the way to the first office, Avi will inform the player that if anyone sees them picking up the marked bags, they will be alerted. Thus, the player has the option of collecting the documents undetected by distracting the guards, or by killing everyone and take their changes with pursuing agents. Each bag must be collected on foot and delivered to the Trashmaster. The player must steal two confidential documents bags from three different offices. On the way to the second office, Avi will inform the player that the real trashmen are heading to the office to collect the bags, and must be stopped before it reaches the KnoWay office. Otherwise, the KnoWay security will identify the player as an intruder. In order to collect the documents from the third KnoWay office, which are not yet placed in bags, the player must show the refuse collector pass provided by Avi to the KnoWay supervisor (or hack the garage door when caught), collect the real trash bags and wait for the supervisor to leave the office entrance. Once the supervisor has left the area, the player can hack the keypad by completing a Hacking minigame and gain access to the office interior, where the confidential documents are. While leaving the final office, Avi will inform the player that the FIB has just loaded a van with more confidential documents. The player must locate the van and either damage it or shoot the drivers to make it stop and drop the documents bags. Afterwards, the player must lose the four-star wanted level and deliver the Trashmaster with the confidential documents to Elysian Island to complete the mission. Bonus Payout The player can collect all the trash bags for an additional $10,000 bonus. Tunnel Vision After accepting the mission, Avi Schwartzman will inform the player that the hard drives they recovered from the Cypress Flats data center contained information on KnoWay's plans to expand their operation to the subway system. Their head engineer is currently developing self-driving trains, and is about to arrive at the LSIA Terminal 4 Station via Metrotrain. The player must head to the LSIA Terminal 4 Station, which is guarded by KnoWay Mercenaries, and board the KnoWay Metrotrain at platform 1. Once inside they must hack the controls by completing a VOLTlab Hacking minigame, allowing Avi to remotely control the Metrotrain. Avi uses the Metrotrain to block the subway tunnel in order to force the oncoming Metrotrain the KnoWay engineer is working on to stop. After successfully making the engineer's train to stop, the player must kill the engineer and his bodyguards and collect the engineer's briefcase. Several KnoWay Mercenaries will come through the subway tunnel on foot and on Powersurges. Avi will inform the player that he left some Powersurges inside the container for them to use to escape the subway system. After leaving the subway tunnels, the player must escape the pursuing KnoWay Mercenaries and deliver the engineer's briefcase to the trunk of Avi's Felon GT parked in Elysian Island. he player must then answer the nearby payphone to complete the mission. Bonus Payout While inside the tunnel, after passing the container(s) with motorcycles, the player can search for the ECU on the next station for an additional $10,000 bonus. Inside Job After accepting the mission, Avi Schwartzman will inform the player that KnoWay is panicking over the KnoWay taxi incident caused by them in the previous part of the plan. Now, KnoWay is hiring thugs to sabotage other taxi companies around Los Santos, hoping that civilians will return to use KnoWay taxis. Avi discovered that they are planning to destroy a fleet of taxis from the Downtown Cab Co. depot, so he enlisted the player as a new hire for KnoWay's goons and obtained uniforms to use as disguise. The player is tasked into gaining trust from one of KnoWay's hired goons in order to find out their data center's location. After equipping the KnoWay Mercenary outfit, the player must meet the KnoWay contact at the Last Train in Los Santos diner on Eclipse Boulevard. The contact will ask the player to drive his Omnis e-GT to the Downtown Cab Co. depot in East Vinewood. Once they arrive at the depot, the contact tells the player to keep the engine running and wait at the depot's parking lot while he holds up the taxi firm staff inside the depot. Shortly after, the contact leaves the depot through the parking lot and plants an explosive under one of their Taxis. He gets back in the Omnis e-GT and tells the player to keep a distance from the Taxis, before detonating the explosives. Afterwards, the player must lose the wanted level. The contact sends the location of the hideout where their handler within the FIB is waiting. The hideout is at the Auto Repairs garage in El Burro Heights, adjacent to the RON gas station. Entering the hideout, the player must follow the contact to find the FIB agent leading the KnoWay scheme. The contact then tells the player to enter the briefing room, before leaving the hideout for a break. The player learns through the FIB agent's briefing that they've moved the sensitive data to a data center located in Cypress Flats, which is heavily secured by KnoWay Mercenaries. After the FIB agent reveals the coordinates of the data center, Avi sends a phone message to the player informing that they've been compromised and they should leave the hideout immediately. The FIB agent receives a phone call from one of his superiors informing that the hideout has been infiltrated by the new hire. The player must fight their way out the hideout before heading towards the data center. After leaving the hideout Avi sends a text message asking the player if they found out where to access their data and if they can break in and get the information out. Arriving at the data center in Cypress Flats, the player must kill the three guards outside, break into the heavily guarded facility and steal three hard drives containing the sensitive data. As soon as the player leaves the data center, they are surprised by the KnoWay contact coming in a weaponized Menacer, alongside several KnoWay Mercenaries. The player must fight their way out of the KnoWay ambush, and deliver the three hard drives to the trunk of Avi's Felon GT parked in Elysian Island. The player must then answer the nearby payphone to complete the mission. Bonus Payout While inside the hideout the player can search for the FIB tech for an additional $10,000 bonus. Negative Press After accepting the mission, Avi Schwartzman will send the location of the KnoWay Depot on Dorset Drive where the autonomous taxis are stored. The first part of the plan to stop KnoWay's surveillance scheme is to sabotage at least one of their self-driving taxis and using it to cause some chaos around the city, with the intention of making their stock price tank on LCN and lose potential fundraisers. Arriving at the KnoWay Depot on Dorset Drive, the player must enter the depot through the rear garage door. The player cannot enter the depot with their personal vehicles. Inside the depot, the player must take out the KnoWay guards and enter one of the KnoWay test pods to gain remote control of one of KnoWay's Vivanite taxis parked inside the depot. Upon gaining control of it, the player must take the KnoWay Vivanite out of the depot and wreak havoc. An objectives list is shown on the HUD, which the player must complete using the remotely controlled KnoWay Vivanite taxi. The player will receive three random objectives, ranging from knocking over traffic signals, maintain a specific speed for a specific time, reach a specific height in the air through stunts, and hitting a number of pedestrians. After completing the objectives, the player is given the location of active KnoWay taxis to disabled, and KnoWay billboards to be destroyed by crashing onto them using nearby ramps. With the player's KnoWay taxi going viral on Snapmatic and Bleeter, Avi tells the player to destroy the vehicle by crashing into a gas station pump or sinking it on deep water. Before leaving the KnoWay depot, the player must make sure that all KnoWay Vivanite taxis are destroyed. The LSPD is dispatched to investigate the depot after the incident, with Avi warning the player to escape the depot, lose the cops and collect their payment in the trunk of Avi's Felon GT parked in Elysian Island. The player must then answer the nearby payphone to complete the mission. Bonus Payout Destroying all billboard and KnoWay taxis while controlling a KnoWay taxi for an additional $10,000 bonus. While driving to the the mansion the player can stop by the neighbors where a Bugstars crew is working to fumigate termites with gas, the player can use the gas to incapacitate the The Lost MC. After arriving at the mansion the player needs to find a way to evict The Lost MC. Equipping a firearm will cause them to draw their weapons and start a firefight. You can place gas canisters on the air conditioning units to force them out of the mansion. Another option is to activate the mansion alarm. After all The Lost MC are fled the player has to leave the area for the mission to finish. Maximum Payout Bonus The player must incapacitate all the Lost MC in the mansion or force them to flee for a cash bonus reward. They need to deliver the trailer to the Ace Jones Drive Overlook construction site on Ace Jones Drive, Vinewood Hills while being chased by the Armenian Mob.
