DONDA 2 Unreleased - Kanye West

DONDA 2 is the album made by Kanye West as a sequel to his 2021 masterpiece, "DONDA". This album would be made following DONDA, and was a result of a bitter taste by the release. Although extremely acclaimed by many, Kanye West/Ye had not wanted to release it yet, but because the production had spanned for so long and it had been delayed multiple times already, he was pressured to release it by his labels. Following this, Ye would decide to go independent, and make a second album dedicated to his mother, where he had control of. Kanye would make this album, but he would release it on stem player. Because it was excluded from streaming services, many people would never listen to the album. Another thing is that only a fraction of the huge tracklist of songs would release, and many songs that were released replaced other versions that were great or even better. The whole reception was extremely sour. This playlist is tracklist focusing on the unreleased DONDA 2, and what it could have been. This uses only songs made by Kanye West during the making of the album. DONDA 2 production takes place from 11/15/2021 to 10/03/2022, with it being chopped into 3 sections: 2021 era, 2.22.22 sessions, and post 2.22.22 sessions. Everything else before or after that is not included, and neither are yedits. The unreleased version of the album focuses heavaly on trap and synth sound, with an aim for "monk-like" simplicity, where tracks would fit for major events. There are many different producers on this whole album, with of course Kanye West, but also others such as Future, Digital Nas, Beach House, will.i.am, E.VAX, BoogzDaBeast, MIKE DEAN, Ojivolta, and more. It would feature many big features as well such as: Future, Lil Durk, XXXTENTATION, The Game, Fat Money, Vic Mensa, Ty Dolla $ign, CyHi, Strick, Consequence, Alicia Keys, Don Toliver, and more. This playlist includes 45 songs. That sounds like a lot, and is, but there were many songs left out, with over 25 songs being excluded. Those were all left out due to bad quality, not fitting at all despite being made during the era, too unfinished, or something else. If you want to listen to some of these, I made a separate playlist with them and alternate versions of songs. Speaking of versions; almost every song here has anywhere from 3 to 30 plus different versions. I have listened to every song and every version to determine which is the best to include. I did this by ranking three things in this order: how accurate the song is to the album, how unique it sounds, and then how good it sounds. This is so I don't include an inaccurate or extremely similar to release version of a song just because it sounds good, although most of the unreleased unique versions are better anyways. Like I said, the versions that were beat by another, but are worth a listen are also in that extra playlist. THIS whole playlist has also been ordered to create the best listening experience. There are different sections when listening to the album, with there being about 5 in total, with many songs being grouped into the one that fits best. This helps to make the album consistent and not sound so chaotic. Many songs will transition well into another, and some are made to help move from one section to another. Combining all of this hopefully makes the whole album flow well from start to finish, to create the best listening experience. All in all, this whole thing took me about 2 months to do. I've probably listened to each of the songs on here 5 times each, with the main ones probably at least 15 times. The idea from all of this is that this will be one of the best ways to listen to DONDA 2.
