DIY Downdraft Table for Grinding Dust Collection

I'm still experimenting with different strategies for dust collection in my shop and this is the latest. I had some footage of the start of the downdraft table project I've been meaning to post up for awhile. If you don't know what this is, I took inspiration from Justin over at The Fabrication Series on YouTube, I just don't have CNC Plasma or CNC anything to cut out my panels for me and I modified his design a little. I'm hoping this will keep the grinding dust down in my shop and make it easier to deal with a smaller amount in the future. This is the first video on my DIY downdraft table. More on my quest to improve metal dust collection and chip collection in my shop It occurred to me I should probably share a little more about how I did this in my home shop without all the fancy tools. This is my first sheet metal project and building the backsplash, floor and zero clearance drawer was probably a little bit ambitious, but I'm pretty happy with the results given my level of experience and the servicability.
