98 singers from Gurt Lush Choir and Bristol Man Chorus filmed themselves at home during the Coronavirus 2020 pandemic lockdown. Thanks to all the choir members who were able to join in, to everyone who donated to make this happen, and to all those who wished us well even though they were not able to be part of this. 2020 has left singers and choirs everywhere bereft at the loss of live communal singing. One day we will all be back singing 'live' together. Playing For Change (PFC) is a Certified B Corp (Social Purpose Corporation) created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band—a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey and establish the Playing For Change Foundation—a separate non profit organization dedicated to supporting music programs for children around the world. Thomas Bergersen was born in a small town in Norway and has spent his whole life living and breathing music. He is a multi instrumentalist, proficient on piano, violin, trumpet and various other musical instruments. Thomas is best known for his work for his company Two Steps From Hell which he co-founded with his American partner Nick Phoenix. Several of his albums have reached platinum status and he has millions of followers world wide. Thomas is self taught both in composition, orchestration, production and on the various instruments he plays. His music has been featured in countless Hollywood productions, concerts and international productions.

Aeone was born in England and grew up on the south coast in Emsworth. Part of her childhood was spent in the Far East living both in Singapore and Hong Kong. Musical from an early age, it soon became clear that Aeone had an ability for composition along with a gift for singing and poetry. For most of her teens, she attended King Edwards School, Witley, a school with a specialist music department. It was here that she studied voice along with piano, oboe and guitar. After leaving school she went on to study voice at a more advanced level at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in London. She comes from a creative and music-loving family, with ancestors on both sides who were professional pianists and opera singers. With roots in the mystical English counties of Devon and Cornwall, as well as Wales, Scotland and France, it is not surprising that Aeone has a deep affinity with folk songs and Celtic music. And, although her early career successes took her more into the fields of pop music, it was to these Celtic roots that she returned in later years and where she has now found her true musical voice and sound.
