.45-70 GEL BLOCK AND LOAD TESTING

Final testing of this sub loading to confirm sub-sonic velocities out of the Henry Lever Action Model X 45-70.

We did load testing in a previous video and back at the range to see how these group at 100yrds. Next video up for this load will be the ballistic gel block testing. Test platform for this load was the CVA Scout Takedown with a 25" and 1/20 twist. I'll also be trying this out in the Henry X model in future videos.

What do you do when you find zero load or powder data for a bullet? Here's a quick look at me using load data for a past heavy 45-70 load then decreasing it over half to get a safe starting load for this bullet. Then, I incrementally work up the load till I start seeing some pressure signs.
