George H. W. Bush invites Dana Carvey to the White House in late 1992 after he loses the election to Bill Clinton. Carvey and Bush were friends after this, according to Carvey. It's lovely to see a commander in chief with a sense of humor. I tend to impersonate those I love, and sometimes they take offense. I can't help it--when I love someone, I miss them and want to remember them when they are gone, even if I have to pretend to be them!

January 9, 1998, after Sonny is killed in a skiing accident. I remember this well. My wife had just left me and I was alone, deployed to Korea, and the news came to me. As well as I could, I watch all the coverage of this. I grew up watching Sonny and Cher. Funny story--Mom thought he was killed skating. I told he, "He hit a tree! Who put trees in the middle of skating rinks?" Well, very hard to watch.

Yep, we've dealt with the U.N. before--the United Neutered Nations. They say a lot but when people are dying, they generally just scold those who try to take action. If I had to depend on the U.N. to protect me, I'd have to arm myself and take matters into my own hands as Israel did in this case. If not for the restrictions of youtube "shorts" I could've played a much longer rebuttal of United Nations mouthpiece Francesca P. Albanese. In my much younger days I trusted what I saw on televisions news reports by so-called "experts" but after decades in military intelligence, being involved in numerous "events" that received worldwide coverage, then seeing how the press handled it, I no longer believe anyone who has degrees behind their names. Prove you know what you're talking about first. If you are as smart as you want me to believe, then you should have no problem convincing me!
