🏺 Indiana Jones and the Great Circle — S1E2: Secrets Beneath the Vatican
2Nerds1BedWe pick back up with Indy deep inside Castel Sant’ Angelo, navigating ancient corridors, hidden rooms, and the kind of Vatican architecture only Dr. Jones can turn into a parkour course. Along the way he reconnects with Father Antonio, examines new clues, and slips into a clever disguise that keeps him (briefly) one step ahead of trouble. But trouble catches up fast when Father Ventura makes an unexpected and unwelcome appearance. Indy pushes deeper into the Vatican Library, which reveals a secret door and a network of mysteries buried for centuries. From there he searches Vatican City for the elusive Vatican Post Office, roams the ancient streets, haggles with Ernesto, and finally faces off with a cleverly locked safe hiding the answers he needs. This episode mixes stealth, puzzles, exploration, Roman history, and that classic Indy charm we all grew up on. If you love adventure, puzzles, historical secrets, and pure Gen-X nostalgia… you’re in the right place. 🏺 Indiana Jones and The Great Circle S1E1 – “A Nice View”
2Nerds1BedSouth America – 1936 → Connecticut – 1937 → Rome, Italy The adventure kicks off with pure nostalgia — the opening sequence of Raiders of the Lost Ark brought to life in full playable glory. Indy and his small expedition team trek through the steamy jungles of South America in 1936, hunting for a hidden temple entrance. They soon realize they’re not alone in the jungle. Inside the temple, Indy cracks the whip, dodges ancient traps, and delivers those classic one-liners. Spiders drop from the ceiling, sunlight beams trigger deadly traps, and one wrong step means certain doom. Then comes the infamous switch — grab the idol, RUN FOR IT! The ceiling collapses, the boulder rolls, and once again … Indy is betrayed. Cut to 1937. Indy jolts awake in his study at Marshall College, Connecticut, surrounded by relics and research. A noise in the dark leads him to investigate — and he finds a massive intruder rummaging through his collection. (Seriously … tell me that’s not Tony Todd in disguise?!) One knockout later, Indy wakes amid chaos — an artifact missing, clues scattered. He quickly pieces it together: an archaeological puzzle, a missing cat mummy, and … yes, a toilet brush that somehow fits the mystery. A trail of clues reveals the intruders’ escape route — and an engraved symbol tied to something far larger. After packing a bag (and discovering a gift that hints at someone watching his work), Indy sets course for Rome. Enter Castel Sant’ Angelo, just outside Vatican City — moonlight, ancient stone, and trouble lurking in every corridor. Indy sneaks into the fortress, handles a few quiet scuffles, and takes in … a nice view indeed. The stage is now set for the adventure’s true beginning — the mystery of the Great Circle. 🎥 Episode Highlights Opening playable Raiders homage Classic traps & betrayal sequence Marshall College break-in (“Tony Todd” look-alike scene) Missing artifact → Rome connection First Vatican infiltration and stealth puzzle Ends on the parapet with A Nice View20 views
