Colony 23 - Valys
DDustwindDrifterGame by AkralonWorld: https://www.worldanvil.com/world/8de8585b-1ead-4018-9b4f-2c266be4d2cc/summary Music composed by: Dave Daddario - www.youtube.com/@davedaddario Valys is the most recent world to establish themselves in the stars. It is a fast-spinning, tempestuous water world. The Valysians have held to their Celtic heritage and honor the old ways of lord and lady, honor and title, ceremony and tournament.2 views -
Colony 14 - Kyron
DDustwindDrifterGame by AkralonWorld: https://www.worldanvil.com/world/8de8585b-1ead-4018-9b4f-2c266be4d2cc/summary Music composed by: Dave Daddario - www.youtube.com/@davedaddario Kyron is locked in orbit behind a massive world that keeps it in perpetual shadow. This dark frozen world is illuminated by the radioactive crystals that cover its surface - which have warping and mutating effects on its inhabitants. The Kyronites have adapted to the cold and the dark, have weaponized the crystal-tech, and have used it to dominate the wild beasts that roam the everlasting night. Kyronites are grim, determined, disciplined and believe in bringing order to chaos by iron-willed domination.4 views -
Colony 18 - Tarn
DDustwindDrifterTarn is a massive jungle world where everything is alive. The Tarnians use sound and vibration tech to coordinate and direct the flora and fauna. They've also uplifted several of the more beastial and primitive races to come alongside them. Tarnians revere life and were the first to run into the abomination race, the Keshites. When they realized Voth was behind the Keshite attacks on their colonies, they reached out to two other worlds, (Telek and Aerid) to form the Free Systems Alliance. Unfortunately, even though the FSA has been holding off Voth, Kesh, Skall, and Zerogg - the recent edition of Kyron has put the Vothian's New Galactic Order (NGO) in a dominating position of power.10 views 1 comment -
Colony 33 - Kesh
DDustwindDrifterToxic World. A labyrinth of underground caverns, filled with toxic spore clouds and seething acid pools. The Keshites are infected with the necrosis causing spores, grafting cyborg parts to their bodies. The necrosis is fast, and mind-seizing, leading the Keshites to consume vast amounts of resources in their desperation to keep themselves from succumbing to the madness. The parasitical side of their infection often prevents them from experiencing total death, as many foes have witnessed their ghastly revival. For this reason, the New Galactic Order, led by Voth, uses the Keshites as a bulwark against the Free Systems Alliance races by promising them worlds to ravage.6 views -
Colony 27 - Aerid
DDustwindDrifterGame by AkralonWorld: https://www.worldanvil.com/world/8de8585b-1ead-4018-9b4f-2c266be4d2cc/summary Music composed by: Dave Daddario - www.youtube.com/@davedaddario Aerid is a scorching desert world with endless sand dune seas. The Aeridians are devout in their faith, believing all the events that led to the abandoning of Earth, the Lost Ark, and the new colonies is divine providence. Their religious order mimics ancient Roman Catholic traditions and hierarchies. The Aeridian sense of justice is swift and severe. Their alliance with the other FSA worlds is tenuous at best, as they stayed neutral until witnessing the devastation and corruption of the Keshites - to which they have sworn to eradicate from existence. The sun-scorched world and radical dust storms have honed the Aeridians into unshakeable disciples of their faith. They prefer the universal power of fire to purge their enemies. Tarn and Telek tolerate Aerid as a necessary evil that may become a potential problem in the future. For now, however, they remain allies in fighting the NGO.4 views -
Rogue Colony - Gears
DDustwindDrifterGame by AkralonWorld: https://www.worldanvil.com/world/8de8585b-1ead-4018-9b4f-2c266be4d2cc/summary Music composed by: Dave Daddario - www.youtube.com/@davedaddario Gears was a massive asteroid that housed runaway mechanics. Over time, more neutral-minded factions began building it up as an emergency spaceship repair station. Gears continued to grow as it attracted peace-seeking recluses, freedom-fighting revolutionaries, job-hunting mercenaries, headhunting bounty hunters, pirates, smugglers and privateers. Gears protects its own, and many freelance crews go their for new jobs, to trade on the black market, or to engage in things their homeworlds typically frown upon. While Gears is technically neutral, if push came to shove, the Gearheads would much prefer to fight alongside the FSA than under the thumb of the NGO.1 view -
Colony 19 - Skall
DDustwindDrifterGame by AkralonWorld: https://www.worldanvil.com/world/8de8585b-1ead-4018-9b4f-2c266be4d2cc/summary Music composed by: Dave Daddario - www.youtube.com/@davedaddario Skall is a radioactive wasteland, a scorched red desert. The Skallahken themselves have been grotesquely mutated by the strong radiation, which began the tradition of mask wearing. At the mercy of such lethal planetary forces, the Skallahken delved into ancient mystic religions, becoming unduly ceremonial and ritualistic, like ancient Egyptians. There are gaseous lifeforms known as the Rah. These greenish spirit-like entities give off their own kind of radiation. The Skallahken revered the Rah at first, then invented technology to weaponize and harness them. The Skallahken believe themselves ultimately superior as the survivors of the harshest world. This has limited their numbers, however, and they were forced to bend the knee to Voth. But they have never stopped plotting the fulfillment of their grand prophesies.12 views -
Colony 36 - Tusque
DDustwindDrifterTusque is nearly three times the size of ancient Earth. This massive, mostly stoney world, has a super thick atmosphere and heavy gravity. Therefore, the Tusquans are solid, dense, tremendously strong, and aggressive. Their transformation to adapt to the world was slow and painful. Tusquans refuse to join the NGO or the FSA, stubbornly believing they build their own empire. Unfortunately, their focus on physical mastery of their world left their intellectual and scientific developments lacking. As of now, both sides of the struggling forces have tenuous relations with Tusque, each hoping to win them to their side.2 views
