According to the FBI, Charlie Kirk was shot directly in the neck with a .30-06 round, leaving no exit wound, and no blood splatter anywhere except for the front of his shirt, and a small splash on the table. (None on the tent backdrop, the ground in the tent/parking lot, his clothes outside of the upper-chest area, any of the people who carried him...) Kolvet said the doctor described Kirk’s bone as “so healthy” and “so impressive that he’s like the man of steel.” The bullet was eventually found lodged just beneath the skin.
