Skyrim AE Survival Mode Series

With the Skyrim Anniversary Edition main story completed, Dawn Guard and Dragon Born DLC quests completed, we are wrapping our survival mode playthrough by honoring their request to marry Lydia. She's been with us through all of this, so this will be a great way to end our journey. This is not our last Skyrim playthrough; we will be returning very soon as we add mods to see if we can make Skyrim look like a game of today in 4K UHD. We've just entered Sovngarde and are being put to the test. Can we get help in defeating Alduin, or are we on our own? Will the might of the Nordic legends help put a final end to the World Eater as we start to come to the conclusion of our Skyrim survival mode playthrough? Who knows how it will end? After Aludin's initial defeat in EP 27, we've still some work to do. We need to defeat and capture Odahviing and make him show us where Alduin has retreated too. This will set us on the path to enter Sovngarde and put an end to Alduin's long plight of Nirn. We also need to get more bolts too, I don't have any and those are going to be needed. Who knows what is going to happen, so lets just have a laugh. Had a lot of fun in last night's episode 25, we got Barbas with us now, the indestructible doggo, and Lydia too. So we can also, right now, complete the quest of "Discerning the Transmundane" and head to Whiterun to do two more with "Blood On the Ice" and "The White Phial". This will be a good setup to then get back on the main quest and start "A Cornered Rat", Should be fun. We completed the Dragonborn Quest in EP23, so we're likely going to get back into the main storyline. But first, there are two side quests I want to kick to the curb. One, find the Unicorn, and the second (A Daedra's best friend) find and talk (wait for it) to Barbas the dog, but there is a sneaky ABD reason for this companion, he cannot die. For the dog quest, we'll need a shed load of Sunhallowed Arrows (a lot) to wipe out a ton of Vampires, here's looking at you, Auriel's Bow and vampire exploding arrows... What the hell kind of episode this is going to be, I've no idea, but most likely a lot of fun. So we started the Dragonbord Quest in EP23 after getting supplies and selling items no longer required. In this part 2, we are traveling across Solstheim to clear the stones, but it's only a matter of time before we'll come face to face with Daedric god of knowledge Hermaeus Mora. But what is going on with Miraak, and why is the first Dragonborn trying to return to Solstheim so aggressively? Let's find out and hopefully not get our butts kicked. We obtained the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow, and we'll need to Smith it as we work through the DLCs and main quest to get it to legendary. So smithing is something we're going to start focusing on, and we need to get rid of some items that are super glued to our inventory before we start the Dragonborn DLC quest. The Dragonborn quest was the last and the largest DLC for Skyrim, with an additional location, "Solstheim," an island northeast of Skyrim. This island's map boasts an additional 1/3 of the size of the vanilla map. So we need to be prepared before starting that quest line. We are half way through the quest Ancient Technology and in the middle of the third of six sub quests to obtain that Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow. We need to push through and finish them in this episode, so we can focus on smithing and making it legendary in the coming episodes. It will also be a perfect weapon for our Nordic charactor play through build and before we start the Dragonborn DLC quest. With the Stormguard main quest completed, we're looking to obtain the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow, which is arguability the best crossbow in game. By talking to Sorine Jurard at Fort Storm Guard, she will help us obtain it and fine out. We also need to sell off a ton of items, and also finish off some misc quests where items are taking up inventory and weight space, before we head into the Dragonborn DLC quest. What a blast in EP19 we push through into The Forgotten Vale, clearing everything in our path. Having that extra NPC really helped, especially when Serana started bugging out on us. We are right at the last boss in the Vale, not going to be easy, before we head back into the vale to search of Auriel's shield. Will we have time to finish off Harkon? or will we just get spanked? let's play to find out.
