When I saw Hasan Piker tweet “we are becoming more Chinese by the day”…something in my brain snapped. Destiny didn’t do it. The brothel memes didn’t do it. But THAT tweet? Yeah, that was the final Infinity Stone and it was time to throw down the gauntlet. This song had to exist. “More Chinese by the Day” is a full parody/satire track inspired by the now-infamous moment where Hasan Piker was stopped by Chinese police in Tiananmen Square for (allegedly) having a spicy Mao meme visible on his phone. Nothing extreme happened, nobody got arrested, and honestly it wouldn’t even be a noteworthy situation…except for one tiny, deliciously ironic detail: If this exact thing happened in the U.S. - Hasan would absolutely still be live streaming right now screaming “FASCISM!!” into a $2,000 mic. This is the same guy who claimed he was detained at O’Hare Airport for “over two hours,” only for timestamps and receipts to reveal it was closer to 30 minutes...and he STILL talked about it for weeks. But when it’s the CCP stopping him in a world-famous square, literally racially profiling him, and asking to search his phone without any probable cause? Suddenly it’s: “Relax, bro, they’re just doing their job.” The irony wrote half this song by itself. This video is a parody. This song is satire. This situation is absolute cinema. Enjoy.
