In "Coffee, Tea, or Jack?", Susan, the flight attendant, shows up unexpectedly while Chrissy and Janet are planning a surprise birthday party for Jack. Her arrival complicates things as Jack still has feelings for her, despite her past habit of breaking his heart. The episode revolves around the roommates trying to get Jack away from Susan and to the party, not a broader on-and-off relationship arc beyond this single appearance.
