Ephesians 5&6- Eph 5:17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 2025
RVTAWe are to walk circumspectly. We are not living in a world that fears Elohim. It is not easy to remain outside of the sin and depravity in the world today, but we are commanded to do it. Paul says that we are to understand the will of Elohim. The world of Christianity has no idea what that means because they do not know His will. We can only know His will through His Instructions. Deut 4:5-6 “See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it. 6“So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ River Valley Torah Assembly http://rvtorah.com/16 views 1 comment -
Ephesians 3 - What is this mystery which in other ages was not made known?
RVTAEph 3:3 that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief. Eph 3:4 And by referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, Eph 3:5 which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; What is this mystery which in other ages was not made known? Paul says that it has now been revealed by the Spirit to Elohim's set-apart apostles and prophets? The next verse tells us exactly what it is. Eph 3:6 to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, The mystery is that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs of the same body as a part of Israel. Gentiles are no longer strangers of the commonwealth of Israel and are no longer aliens of the covenants of promise. Eph. 2:12-13 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Eph. 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, Eph. 3:6 to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,21 views -
Ephesians 2 - "born again," or "born from above?" One cannot cause themselves to be born. 2025
RVTAEph 2:1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, Eph 2:2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Eph 2:3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. Paul says that we were "dead in our trespasses and sins." Many Christians teach that "mankind is drowning in this world of sin and we are to throw the life-preserver of Jesus out to them and rescue them..." That is ridiculous. Paul says that we are already dead in our trespasses and sin. A dead man can't grab onto a life-preserver. We are dead in our trespasses and sins and there is nothing we can do about it. We are made "alive" through Yeshua. Through Him we receive the Spirit of the Father and are "born again," or "born from above." Once again, this is an act of the Father. One cannot cause themselves to be born. We once walked according to Satan. Satan is referred to here as "the prince of the power of the air." If you think that means he controls the media, you might be correct. Paul reminds us that we are nothing more than sinners who are saved by Yeshua, nothing more. We owe it all to Him, not ourselves.12 views 1 comment -
Ephesians 1 His chosen ones will listen to His message of Truth and entrust it in their lives. 2025
RVTAEph 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-- having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, It is only His chosen ones who will listen to His message of Truth and entrust it in their lives. Paul tells us that His people have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. That seal with the Holy Spirit is the Torah bound in the hearts of His people. Isa 8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn. We are told in Revelation of 144,000 that are "sealed" on their foreheads. They have a heart and mind for the Father and and His Torah and they are redeemed israel. Rev 7:2-17 And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads.” 4And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel: 5from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad twelve thousand, 6from the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, from the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand, 7from the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, from the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand, 8from the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, from the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were sealed. 9After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; 10and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” 11And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying, “Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” 13And one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and from where have they come?” 14And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15“For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne shall spread His tabernacle over them. 16“They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; 17for the Lamb in the center of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them to springs of the water of life; and God shall wipe every tear from their eyes.”19 views
