Call of Duty: United Offensive Playthrough Part 1
HasselHoffman GamingPlaythrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack. Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty. Well, I figured with the original COD still fresh in my mind, I figured I might as well knock out it's expansion pack as well. I thought there would have been improvements going into this one. Boy, I was wrong. Not only are the health packs disabled again, but in some missions, they take away your grenades as well. Which makes clearing out rooms or taking out groups much more difficult. Although I will say this one definitely keeps up the intensity when compared to the beginning of the first game. Which was a nice change of pace. I apologize in advance if the vid appears darker. The reason for this is because like the original game, it does not play nice with screen capture software. Had to use Nvidia Shadow Play again for capturing footage of the game. Hope you all enjoy!10 views 1 comment -
Call of Duty: United Offensive Playthrough Part 2
HasselHoffman GamingPlaythrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack. Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty. One positive thing I will say about this expansion is that they added a sprint button. Definitely helped with these missions. The most annoying part of this mission was trying to cross that bridge without getting shot. The one seen in the intro. If you decide to skip most of that while watching, I wouldn't blame you. Unless you want to see how not to do it lol. Hope you enjoy!10 views -
Call of Duty: United Offensive Playthrough Part 3
HasselHoffman GamingPlaythrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack. Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty. Oh boy, this one was really rough. I really had to rely on so much trial and error to get through this. It got to the point where I had to save manually after nearly every combat encounter. But I'm not giving up yet. Hope you enjoy!2 views -
Call of Duty: United Offensive Playthrough Part 4
HasselHoffman GamingPlaythrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack. Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty. I actually had a lot of fun playing these missions. It's a shame that we wouldn't see another plane mission in the franchise until World at War. The mission with blowing up the train was also pretty memorable. Hope you enjoy!10 views -
Call of Duty: United Offensive Playthrough Part 5
HasselHoffman GamingPlaythrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack. Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty. Again, another set of missions with a lot of trial and error tactics to finish. Although not bad when compared top another mission later on (won't spoil it here). Hope you enjoy!5 views -
Call of Duty: United Offensive Playthrough Part 6
HasselHoffman GamingPlaythrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack. Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty. The Russian Missions are up next. Didn't get nearly as frustrated with these missions like I had with the others. Hope you enjoy!6 views -
Call of Duty: United Offensive Playthrough Part 7
HasselHoffman GamingPlaythrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack. Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty. I have to say, the tank mission in this one didn't give me as much trouble when compared to one in the main game. Again, a lot of trial and error; especially in the buildings. Regardless, we're on the homestretch. The final mission will be in the next vid. Hope you all enjoy!10 views 1 comment -
Call of Duty: United Offensive Playthrough Part 8
HasselHoffman GamingPlaythrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack. Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty. Well. here we are. Another game completed. This is by far, the mission I was dreading the most for this game. The train station section was a nightmare. Trying to figure how to destroy the tanks while evading the Stukas as well trying not to get shot was insane. Literally had to camp towards the end as well as saving very frequently to beat this mission. Final thoughts on this game: I will say there were more intense moments in this game when compared to the main game. Some of the missions were very enjoyable as well. The one in the bomber was a definite standout out. Although there were some negatives. I made the comment back in the main game that I didn't think the game was QA tested as well on Veteran. I would say that's even more true for the expansion. I don't know if I was seeing things, but there were times when I felt like I was emptying a whole mag of rounds into an enemy and he still didn't go down. There were also times when taking hits was unavoidable and with a health system where there's no means of gaining back health, that's huge problem. Which is why they likely gave you health back after the jeep sequence in the first mission of the game. Again, like the main game, it is probably best to play this on Regular or Hardened. Only try this on Veteran if you really want to give yourself a challenge. I would say this is a game to definitely pick up when it goes on sale. Although like the main game, the multiplayer for the expansion pack is basically dead as well. I know COD is very well known for its multiplayer, but for the older titles, you're usually playing them for the campaigns. If you enjoyed this playthrough, leave a like and follow. It's much appreciated!14 views
