Keajion L. Jennings, 28, was charged with criminal damage to government property and three counts of aggravated battery. The video begins with the officer performing a traffic stop on an unrelated vehicle that had expired tags. As the officer approached the passenger window of the SUV he pulled over, a car slammed into the back of his SUV and sent it into the other SUV. Jennings immediately exited the car and said, "Hey, what happened?" "You tell me," the officer responded, to which Jennings calmly responded, "I need a new car." The officer directed Jennings to get off the road and sit down as backup was called. When the officer asked him what happened, he said he'd been drinking and had taken weed pills. "I did that on purpose, sir," he said, and handed the officer his ID. When asked why, he said, "I'm bored." Once backup arrived, the officer again asked Jennings why he crashed into his SUV on purpose, and Jennings said, "I hate cops, man." The two people in the vehicle that the officer initially pulled over were unhurt and were given a warning for their expired tags. Jennings was being held at the St. Clair County Jail.
