The chorus hits on that feeling of being stuck in a loop, like I'm living the same moments over and over again. I talk about my battles with depression and turning to drugs to numb the pain. I share a conversation I had with a friend who advised me to pray and find distractions from the pain. In the verse, I recount a painful incident with one of my friends. I ask for forgiveness and guidance from God, acknowledging I need some help with my mental health I wrote and recorded this song. Pouring my heart out over a relaxed, trap/lo-fi/R&B beat. My music is heavily influenced by artists like Juice WRLD and XXXTENTACION, and I believe listeners of trap, emo rap, or relaxing storytelling music will resonate with it.
