Yeezus (Pre Rick Rubin) [Unreleased] (KanYe West)

This playlist/album is of Kanye West's Yeezus era, specifically during the "pre Rick Rubin era", which lasted from the very end of 2012 to mid 2013. This period was after THANK GOD FOR DRUGS but before Rick Rubin would step in to help guide the project. This period would be the main era of production with an insane workflow, but not much fully finished. There would be so many songs, that after Rubin stepped in, Ye and so would decide to split the project into 2 parts, with the planned "Yeezus 2" consisting of many of the throwaways and unfinished projects of this era, which would eventually become "The Life of Pablo". The sound for this era is described as "splintering electro, acid house, and industrial force while packaging some of his most lewd and heart-crushing tales." This era is extremely unknown due to most of the leaks being in 2025 Yeezus mega GB leak.
There were many songs I could have included here, however I only kept 14. All of these songs and versions specifically are apart of this era, with no yedits, just raw unreleased files. Songs were left out due to being too much mumble, unfinished, not fitting era, made for another artist, etc. There were also multiple versions of songs for some, so I had to pick which to include; I did that based on 4 things:
1. Is it finished/or finished enough? If a version is incomplete, over mumble, etc then there's nothing to get from it and is basically an interesting throwaway at best.
2. Is this version actually from the era? Some songs have multiple versions through eras, and including the wrong version just because it sounds better is pointless and makes the whole thing fake.
3. Is the version unique? A song can have 3 versions, with one sounding better but being almost identical to release; that's no fun, and kinda of misses the point of having a separate unreleased era album.
4. How good does it sound? Finally we are the quality of music. Obviously we want the best sounding version. This according to me obviously, but still.
Any version/song not included that was still worth checking out, I included on a bonus playlist. Onto the album. I tried to make this album flow well, with the intro, middle, transitions, end, etc all purposely being the way they are. Each song is arranged in front and behind another on purpose, done after multiple lissons of each, in hopes of creating the best experience and bringing out what Ye was trying to convey in tone.
Project took me about a month. I also made a TGFD and Post Rick Rubin Yeezus playlist if interested. YT is nearly perfect except they blocked "Awesome V8", so as usual check me out on Rumble @GobldyGooker to hear the full thing.
