Under the guise of "stopping gun violence," the governor signed an emergency decree after a gun shop owner got over 85,000 signatures in the state of Massachusetts to stop a law from being brought in against gun owners. This was simply an overriding of the rights of individuals to have a say in the matter. This ban involves "ghost guns" which technically speaking cannot be totally prohibited because they're by design under the radar. It also bans all forms of equipment that can be used to modify guns. The law shuts down over 400 gun stores and was supposed to go through on October 23rd which could have been stopped by a referendum, but the governor's office pushed through this emergency dictate in order to stop any opposition and force the law through, effective immediately. This also leads to further problems with Red Flag laws which can lead to confiscation for any reason, including questioning the government. This is part of the slow roll into dependence and technocracy with social credits determining what you are and are not allowed to do, have or say. In fact, just recently John Kerry spoke to the World Economic Forum and said that the First Amendment should be suspended. This is typical rhetoric. Of course, free speech isn't something on paper. Regardless of the constitution, it's based on your ability to defend yourself. Unfortunately, today people are defenseless and weak generally. As they push for emergency orders across the board to force people into 15 Minute Cities with food rations and restrictions on the grid as well as travel and speech, this is one of the major steps that leads us there. Kamala Harris finally did her first post-debate interview and got asked preverbal softball questions about GUNS and to expound on her saying she was a gun owner during the debate. Harris responded with "I am a gun owner and Tim Walz, my running mate, is also a gun owner. We're not taking anyone's guns away. I support the Second Amendment and I support reasonable gun safety laws," Harris said. "I feel very strongly that it is consistent with the Second Amendment and your right to own a gun to also say we need an assault weapons ban. They're literally tools of war," Harris continued. "I say we need universal background checks. The majority of NRA members support that. Why? It's just reasonable. You just might want to know." What she didn't mention is that all of these United States government agencies who are not at war have these types of rifles, but somehow when they're in the hands of Citizens, they magically morph into "Tools of WAR" designed "to kill a lot of people quickly." Now don't think for one second that the irony is lost on me that Kamala began by saying she supports the Second Amendent and then the very next thing out of her mouth is proposing a law that literally violates the Second Amendment. Kamala Harris doesn't get to decide what does and doesn't violate the Second Amendment any more than when she was a prosecutor having a criminal tell her which of their criminal actions does and doesn't violate the law. It's a sad day in hell when the biggest advocate for free speech in a country known for its freedom of speech is someone who wasn't even born in this country. ELON MUSK! That should tell you something about the state of the country right now. For years, The Gun community has tried to tell the people in the middle, THE SECOND Amendment, PROTECTS THE FIRST AMENDMENT. Without the Second, you don't have the First. Too many people in this country are willing to do away with the Second Amendment or treat it as some sort of stepchild of the Bill of Rights. They don't realize that the Second Amendment is the muscle that protects all of their other rights—not just the First Amendment. It protects all of them. People are scared to accept that The Second Amendment serves as a deterrent against tyranny. It's not about machoism or pounding your chest and saying, "Hey, I got guns. You can't stop me." No, it's about making the cost of becoming tyrannical exceedingly high so that those in power think twice before overstepping. If they do try, at least you have the means to fight back. It wasn't supposed to guarantee victory; It's supposed to give us a fighting chance to prevent tyranny by making it not worth the attempt. Think back to the Revolutionary War. The founders didn't think they were guaranteed to win, but they were willing to die to protect their rights. The Second Amendment was meant to give us the best ability to fight back, just as those founders did. Today, people are so willing to throw it away because we’ve advanced technologically, but look at what we're dealing with right now.
