The Spits - self-titled
PUNKROCKUK1970sThe warped freaks at Slovenly Recordings, the label that brought you the classic Spits "II" ("wheelchair") LP, as well as the incendiary Spits "P.A.I.N." EP, present the first ever fully authorized, legitimate, REMASTERED vinyl version of the first album from, you guessed it... punk rock warlocks, THE SPITS! Originally released in 2000 on a shitty/ tinny sounding compact disc, this legendary album is fully loaded with all the classics that sent sick-headed kids around the world on quest to throw bottles and bust noses at every Spits show they could sneak into. From the skate-punk anthem "SK8," to the G.G. Allin-cum-Destroy All Monsters murder threat thump of "Die Die Die," to the thuggish declaration of "I H8 Pussies," this record has a top spot on our "Best Punk Records Ever" list for a reason! Pop-punk pussies be damned, this is the essential, disaffected, synth-heavy, big-beat fueled weirdo party you've been denied for far too long. After numerous, hard to acquire bootleg/ unauthorized versions, we've finally made it available for you to add to your growing collection of slimy Spits shingles. released September 20, 2011 1.Dropout 2.SK8 3.Die Die Die 4.Black Kar 5.Saturday Nite 6.Remote Kontrol 7.Tired & Lonely 8.I H8 Pussies 9.Suzy's Face The Spits are an American Seattle-based punk rock band. Currently, the band has released five albums. The first four were all officially self-titled, but were unofficially titled 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively. The albums were released by Nickel and Dime Records, Slovenly Recordings, Dirtnap Records, and Thriftstore Records respectively. In October 2011 they released their latest album, called V. The band describes itself as "Punk for the People", and focuses on loud, noisy, and dirty punk rock. On stage, band members frequently appear in costumes (e.g. graduation robes, nun outfits, Ronald Reagan masks, or toilet paper "mummy" costumes), and focus on the dirty, low-budget sound and presentation of garage punk. The Spits' "Bring Down" was featured in Al Partanen's skateboarding segment of the "Born Dead" skate video, as well as Darrel Mathe's section in the snowboarding video "love/HATE". "I H8 Pussies" was featured in Andy Forgash's segment in the snowboarding video, "Burning Bridges" as well. Their song, "Remote Control" appears in the Absinthe Films snowboarding video, "More".25 views -

Their roots are in hardcore/anarcho punk and metal. Formed in Daventry in 1982, their debut album, In Darkness there is No Choice, was released in 1984. 1985's follow-up EP Out from the Void has often been cited as a game changer amongst their genre for fusing a raw punk rock style with elements of metal. Antisect are a significant band in the timeline of hardcore punk music, said to have been a major influence upon "black-clad, politically charged punks over the last 30 years".[1] The band address issues including animal rights and social justice, communicating their ideas to a largely punk rock audience, and were among the instigators of the squat venue scene in the mid to late 1980s. During this time, members lived the lifestyle of being either on the road or part of the vibrant London squat scene of the time. They toured extensively both in the UK and Europe and though originally splitting up in 1987, the band reformed in May 2011.4 views 1 comment -
