My friend and I couldn't agree on the worst class in the game. He said Luminary, I said Mage. I picked my poison, so here's a run where I attempt to beat the whole game with just Luminary. I was told the speed-up ruined the video...it took me 35 minutes to beat the last boss here, so I decided "No, I'm at least going to speed it up in-post." That's probably a nicer viewing experience than the inconsistency of the emulator, so whilst I'm not opposed to doing it this way from now on, I'd like some feedback. I WAS going to do the speed-up thing I did last video but it requires me rendering it twice. Once in Sony Vegas where I sped it up and rendered it as a audio file, then open the video in Movie Maker where I would actually edit it there. FF in Sony Vegas makes the video look weird, FF in Movie Maker makes the audio high pitch and squeaky. This is not an optimal setup! So instead, use YouTube's little gear icon if you want the fights to not last 40 minutes :) My socials and other platforms here: linktr.ee/misfit_games

Ngl, I did NOT expect to win this one! With Corvus being able to just heal 500 points whenever he felt like it, it seemed like I was doomed to be in an eternal loop of us healing. Also, not me misremembering when he'll use Magic Burst! (I eventually figured it out.)

Surprisingly, the whale was harder than the actual final boss. Its attack is just high enough that I couldn't outlast unless RNG chose to be kind...plus sometimes it can just choose to ignore my defense with the tidal wave. I can technically win without Yggdrasil dew, and I did in some test fights, but it was so tedious that I thought it was more worthwhile to burn all my resources to win in a timely manner. Then I ended it with a victory lap of the grotto bosses I can beat. Idk what else to fight, if there is anything I CAN fight without getting turned into a Yamcha clone. At some point, I'm going to have to start levelling other classes for the stat bonuses...actually, what's more impressive in this game? Solo, or mono-class stats? I honestly think the latter, as solo with maxed out classes across the board you still have some crazy stat gain! Spreading the patheticness around doesn't really have the same impact. It might sound more impressive to go solo, but...well, I'll leave that to you to tell me in the comments what I should do next. My socials and other platforms here: linktr.ee/misfit_games
